THE ONLY OPTION FOR MY EARLY MORNING FLIGHT !!
Pros:

Clean, quiet, a great Hilton. Very close walking distance to the airport. it is not 5 to 10 min... it is a 3-minute walk for me! I also loved the restaurant. I had a great duck - cooked to perfection and a great Romanian assorted salad (tomatoes and cucumbers). After 30 years in the US, I always miss this salad! (I am Romanian-born). Lots of great tourists and business people, but they are civil and do not make much noise - thank you, people! Great receptionists, great cooks, and great cleaners.

Cons:

The mattresses were not Hilton style. They were like a Romanian Firm Relaxa style - quite hard to sleep on. Nevertheless, I will give the hotel a 10/10 because the staff and food were great and it was perfect for my very early early morning departure - Uber is pretty good from the city (normally 30 min, but up to 1 hour if the highway DN1 gets blocked ... and there are many blockages due to vacation travel, accidents, and construction work). Do NOT rent apartments near the airport. They seem like they are within walking distance, but the roads are blocked with construction fences, airport fences, and security walls. THIS IS THE ONLY AIRPORT YOU CAN WALK FROM TO THE TERMINAL - you do not need a shuttle, so the 200 Euros are worth it! (If you can afford it).

Pros:

The hotel is very close to the airport, we just had to walk a few minutes from arrivals through the parking. The place is very nice, they had a cot setup for our 1y-old baby, everything was as advertised.

Cons:

We were hopping that the hotel would have porridge for breakfast which is usually the easiest when you have small children. This was not the case. However they had everything else, including fresh waffles, pancakes and a variety of savory food.

Pros:

Breakfast good & location excellentas genuinely able to walk to airport with suitcase

Cons:

There was a flashing green light in bedroom. we were told iot was connected to fire alarm. someone covered it with tape but it still kept us awake.

Pros:

I like then proximity to the airport.

Cons:

The staff were so mean, I was rolling 3 boxes on my own at the entrance, the staff were looking at me and couldn't help. When I checked in, they also wanted me to take my 3 heavy boxes myself, I had to speak up before they assisted.

Die Art und Weise von die Frau an die Reception bei Check-in am SO-07.06.2026/ ca.+_ 16-17:00 Uhr, ihre Befehl-Ton, ihre skeptischen Fragen, damit hat mich als Person/Name in Frage gestellt mich nicht wahr genommen und mich abgelehnt trotz meiner vorgelegten Papiere und Bookingcom-Reservierungsnummer und nach 10 Minuten erst -Gottseidank - war Sie wieder scheinbar da, könnte die endlich wieder lesen.
Nach dem peinliche publische Situation hat sich nicht mindestens entschuldigt bei mir - aber knappes Anweisung gegeben für den 1/4 ?! Weg zum Zimmer, so musste ich zurück kehren und der nebenstehende männliche Kollege nachfragen!
Eine emotionale Situation für mich, eine 71 junge Frau!
Fragen an die Garden Hotel Direktion/ aeroport 3/ Bukarest:

1. Muss man so etwas einfallen lassen?

2.Darf gerade die Hotel-Frontpersonal (abgesehen von Qualifikation) auch wenn’s manchmal evtl. verwirrende Momente gibts auch so unfreundlich und unerzogen sein? Wirtschaftlich gesehen bringt nicht viel!
