What a very special hotel❣️
1) The location cannot be beat. Every room has the most fantastic view of the bay with the beautious golden domes of "Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe" in the foreground. The Malacon is just three blocks down the hill and very easy to walk to.
2) The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and beautifully appointed. So romantic!
3) All the staff were extremely helpful and very charming and kind.
4),Room and linens are spotless and luxurious.
5) Very thoughtful amenities like an iron and ironing board, a sewing kit, a mini fridge, a coffee maker, cups, glasses, silverware and an ice maker were provided in the room. And robes and slippers. They really have thought of anything you could possibly need.
6) We read the disclaimer about the church bells. However, they are muffled at night and their sound is very charming and really not very loud during the day. Also, the rooms have double paned windows and doors. So any extraneous sounds can be completely blocked out just by closing them.
7) The air conditioner was extremely efficient and quiet. And gets extra bonus points for being positioned Away from the bed ...and Not over it. Bedroom and bathroom both had fans to circulate the air in the ten foot ceilings.
8) The other disclaimer, we read was about the steps. However, they are well lit, all have hand rails and feel very easy, sturdy and safe. There really aren't too many and they add greatly to the charm of the hotel. If you can walk at all you will be fine. (not wheelchair accessible)
9) OH, the loveliness of the plantings❣️ we had a giant golden plumeria in full bloom on our patio. There are lovely and well curated plantings and pots all around the hotel. And fresh flowers in the rooms. And birds outside. We woke to little chirping birds every morning, and yellow parrot of some kind and a cheeky blackbird in the plumaria.
10) Breakfast was wonderful and they are very accommodating to fussy people like me who don't eat eggs.

Location and views are excellent. Right in the heart of central PV. We loved everything about our stay. You should know that there are a lot of levels and stairs that you have to take to get to your room. Also, the bell from the church is loud. We knew this prior to booking and we felt it just added to the charm of the place.

The staff was amazing and went above and beyond. The restaurant was great. View of the water was wonderful. We loved it.

The Bellview is in an extraordinary situation in Puerto Vallarta. It has an added advantage of being away from the crowds. And it has fabulous views. Great quarter clock with extras helps noise sleep 💤

Can’t remember his name but the guy at the front desk who greeted us & showed us to the room was phenomenal! So very nice & explained everything to us.

Beautiful hotel. Tastefully furnished and decorated. Outstanding view overlooking the church. Impeccable service. Plunge pool to cool off. Quiet despite the restaurant.

Super charming and antique, but comfortable and luxury. The best views in the entire city for sure.

Amazing staff, amazing location, incredible room, patio views

The location and views are unreal. Amazing just to lounge in the room and take in the views. Place is also very centrally located and easy to get to the beach and Old Town. Breakfast was really nice - expect a lot of food. If you're able to, dinner at La Capella is a really nice experience.

Love the location, the view and the rooms. It’s a beautiful hotel.

There is never any hot water in the bathroom sink
I got my room clean one day and they did not give me any bath towels I asked for them for hours later today I still didn’t get them check out is too early it’s 11 AM

Der Ausblick, die 2 Schlafzimmer, die tolle Einrichtung wie in einem mexikanischen Palast und das hilfreiche Personal. Man erwartete uns um 23.30 h abends, obwohl ab 22.00 h die Rezeption nicht mehr besetzt ist.

Such a gorgeous place, we can’t wait to go back!!! And next time we are going to stay longer!!!
We booked this place to be as close as possible to the Dia de Los Muertos festivities and it was perfect!!!
Our room was so comfy and spacious with an awesome walk-in style open shower!!! The ice machine in it was such a nice touch!!!
My husband and I especially enjoyed our own private terrace with a stunning view of the Cathedral and the world’s tallest Catrina, as well as the fragrant plumeria tree and the pot of basil!!!
We have been to Italy numerous times and love it so much!!! This property reminded us of it and made us feel like home, from the decor and ambience to the ringing of the church’s bells!!! We were not bother by them at all, quite the opposite!!! Indeed for us that was an added bonus to the beautiful view and another reason for us to book!!!
The pool and the restaurant both have views of the church and the bay!!!
Breakfast was delicious and our waiter was very accommodating and friendly!!! It’s a fixed price and there are a few options to choose from.
Unfortunately for us we didn’t have dinners there even though we totally fell in love with the restaurant and its atmosphere!!! That’s due to the menu being a bit limited for vegetarians!!! Not to mention vegan and gluten free options seem to be even less!
