Staff friendly, food amazing, we stay here if we have an early flight from Bristol, they even put breakfast out early for you.
Loved the dining areas, bar, friendly staff. Our room could have used a little maintenance but very pretty.
We were in the room overlooking the property dumpsters, the “Best” it was called. So we’re unable to open window fully because of flies.
Close to Bristol had to travel to centre in rush hour which was still quick and easy. Food menu for lunch and evening good value
Breakfast somewhat basic
Both rooms very well presented and extra fans for summer heat welcome. Lighting in room given very dark decor to dim especially bathroom
Friendly pub with great food. Obviously a great village asset. Comfortable rooms.
Newly refurbished. Excellent food and value for money. Staff were friendly and always helpful. Great location if using Bristol Airport.
Location was good for the journey we were undertaking. Good shower . Staff very good and obliging
Very hot / but was summer. Stairs difficult with luggage. Bit noisy as by road
The room was smaller than expected with no wardrobe area and leaking shower. Plus road noise
The evening meal was a disaster, the starters orders were totally forgotten after one hour of waiting mains then arrived with no apology from the staff. Wine from the list could was not available.
When later complaining to the person in charge his surly attitude was very poor with no excuse or apology offered
Great hotel. Really helpful and friendly staff. Relaxing. Good sized room. Big bathroom. Great to have a separate bath and shower. Lovely meal in the Restaurant. . Great outdoor area. Definitely value for money
Breakfast was ok in that it was continental self service however choice of pastries were very limited.
The room was unbearably hot. There was a fan but it wasn’t up to the job and the window only opened a little. I guess this is for safety. . I accept it was an exceptionally hot day/night but it needed more than that on this occasion. That said I imagine it would be really warm and cosy in winter. With the velux in the bathroom it needs a blind to stop the sun. I would definitely stay again just not in a heateave
L emplacement , la gentillesse du personnel .
Le petit déjeuner a 7h il ne restait qu un pain au chocolat et un muffin.
Peu de choix de fruits .
The room was warm but we stayed there on one of the hottest days in this heatwave. There was an air coolant machine in the room and this partially helped but obviously not a good as an a/c machine would have been. Otherwise everything was excellent. We had an evening meal which was v good and staff were excellent

The George Inn was full of character with its old stone walls and wooden beams ,and the stairs to the rooms took me back years, they were quant
The staff were friendly and polite. And the Inn was nicely located for our visit to the area
The restaurant looked tired in places ,the green cushions on the benches looked as if they had seen better days the carpet was worn in places the rooms were clean ,but lacked air conditioning ( it was 30 degrees ) the window was hard to open
The secondary glazing was stiff to raise and as for the outer wooden window it looked as if it would fall out if I tried to raise it ,you could say the room had character .
Very convenient for Bristol airport, I had to leave early in the morning to catch a flight and the hotel supplied a wonderful continental breakfast. The room was large with a lovely en suite, tea/Coffee in the room and an extremely comfortable bed.
The evening meal in the restaurant was delicious and all the staff were very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be back.
Well set out, staff are friendly, accommodation is comfortable, and everything for an overnight stay in one place
nice comfortable room; very handy for staying nthe night before leaving early to go to Bristol airport; only 10 minute drive to airport & they leave out some breakfast for you if you want to eat before leaving early; friendly staff
some road noise in room on main road but not during the night
The location was excellent, close to the airport. We had a meal in the restaurant which was very good. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend
Continental breakfast the following morning was ok. The only we would criticise is there was no butter for the toast and no one to ask.
Great location close to airport, clean rooms and nice food in restaurants
