Comfort Inn & Suites Pottstown Eastern Gateway

DO NOT STAY HERE. THERE ARE ROACHES. We got there and noticed the sheets were dirty and there was a blood stain on the sheet. We requested a new room and that room was still dirty but better then the last room. We got breakfast in the morning and went to take our food to the room, staff stopped us and said NO FOOD IN THE ROOM DUE TO PEOPLE GETTING ROOMS DIRTY. me and my friend thought that was very odd. We checked out and when I got home I was unpacking my bag and a baby roach was in my bag!!!! I called the hotel and the general manager admitted they had roaches last month but they got an exterminator and that there was no roaches this month. He then proceeded to tell me I cannot get a refund because I did not have proof of the roach. He was very rude and pretty much told me he has a business to run. BEWARE I AM TRYING TO WARN PEOPLE LIKE US. we paid 130$ for the night to potentially have a roach infestation in our own home. Terrible hotel!!!

Checked in went up to see the rooms smelled like heavy use of bleach, sheets already wrinkled and not clean. Fire alarm started to go off, 5 fire trucks showed up and the firemen evacuated the building, alarms went off likely because people can cook in the rooms. Gave the desk clerk the keys back. Told him this hotel is not safe which they acknowledged. DON’T STAY AT THIS HOTEL! Thank goodness the Marriott had availability. I will not let this die! Both companies have been less than helpful during this process.

During the entire week of our stay at the hotel, the towels were never cleaned or replaced.

Clean room, attendant staff, pretty good breakfast.
Conveniently located.The only thing that was a little concerning was a group of people hanging outside the hotel @ 3 o'clock in the morning when I was putting my luggage in the car.I asked the guy behind the desk,no real response, I grew up in a big city and been around some unsavory characters so it didn't bother me however it just seemed weird.

It was an average comfort inn. Staff were nice and room was clean.

Just stayed one night on a road trip. Not fancy, a bit dated, but not bad and I would stay there again. Room was spacious, breakfast was pretty good. But there was a lot of noise from other guests. Not huge but I arrived really late and heard a lot of doors closing and foot steps.

The parking lot had garbage floating everywhere and I the ppl that were staying there were sketchy.

The worst and dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in in my entire life. The tub visibly had a ring of mold around it. I asked for towels, and they put raw towels on the floor, not in a bag so unsanitary, and then complained when I asked for more and told me I had too many ask for a manager to call me back for two weeks and it took two weeks for me to get my hundred dollar deposit back my friend‘s room had a spot of blood in it and there was a man visibly on drugs that chasing a cat around in the parking lot and strange men that they let just hang around the lobby playing the slot machines that they said were not guests

Modern decor design, attractive interior design, comfortable bedding, helpful and friendly staff, well lit at night, convenient location, clean, great experience overall.

The stench of old urine in the lobby when we checked in should have been a warning. Man at desk kept running around with lysol spray. Stains on sheets. And an elevator that stopped working. Breakfast was meh.

Room was absolutely filthy. The couch looked to be from about 1982 with stains just as old. The suit its self is huge full fridge stove, only bad thing was all the silverware plates and cups where absolutely filthy you could still see people’s fingerprints and lip marks on the cups . And Expedia list breakfast starts at 5 am it dose not start till 7.
