Great stay would definitely recommend
Pros:

The hotel was in an ideal location for climbing Snowdon. The bed was really comfy and the shower was great. We had dinner on the first night which was very nice. The staff were very friendly. Would stay again.

Cons:

Only thing we did notice was it was quite dusty.

The room was not what I expected. I booked a double and was given 2 single beds and the door couldn’t be opened properly ..carpets where not cleaned there where crisps on the rugs … Also the place was so busy not enough staff ..my meal i ordered was wrong and when asked waitress to sort it brought me a piece of pineapple that was frozen in middle …gave up in end as it was to busy to get help ..

Great location and pub, but small room/bed
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent! The location was also great in terms of hiking trails and proximity to the train station. The design of the room was also cute/quaint and I loved having the pub downstairs for food/drinks. Super dog-friendly too (I don't have a dog, but I like seeing them on site!)

Cons:

The room was small, to the point of being cramped. A small bed, small bathroom, etc. For example, when it came time to pack up and leave, I had to leave the room entirely so my husband even had enough space to pack his suitcase. There was also a decent amount of road/traffic noise, but that it probably hard to avoid with the great location.

Good pub, accommodation is an afterthought
Pros:

Great location with young staff being very friendly. It’s very much a pub, that gets busy, which could be a plus or minus depending on your pov.

Cons:

The heating didn’t work, which was bad as we got completely wet through and couldn’t dry anything. Firstly it wasn’t switched on, when we asked and they turned it on, the radiator was full of air so remained cold.
The breakfast arrangement is very strange, you have to preorder, which we weren’t told. And even then I wouldn’t bother, nobody around, bad coffee, I wouldn’t bother.

Pros:

Staff fantasticly friendly and helpful. Great food.
Twin room had plenty of space and mini fridge. Clean and tidy. Would certainly stay again.

Cons:

Couldn't find a way to turn the radiator off, so the room was too hot for my comfort.
