Villa Mandi Golf Resort

Very friendly and professional staff, very clean,, excellent breakfast, spacious apartment. Recieved a free room upgrade, which was superb.

​"I strongly advise against this place due to hidden costs. Instead of the announced €280, we were forced to pay over €400.

​Upon check-in, it turned out that the price displayed on Booking.com can be very misleading when traveling with children. The receptionist claimed that the children's ages were not correctly accounted for in the system and that the original price applied only to infants.

​Tip for others: Double-check the children's age brackets during booking. Otherwise, you might be unpleasantly surprised by a high surcharge on-site, which the hotel refuses to waive."



Zdecydowanie odradzam ze względu na ukryte koszty. Zamiast zapowiadanych 280 EUR, musieliśmy zapłacić ponad 400 EUR.

​Podczas zameldowania okazało się, że cena wyświetlana na Booking.com może być myląca, jeśli podróżuje się z dziećmi. Pani w recepcji stwierdziła, że wiek dzieci nie został poprawnie uwzględniony w systemie, a pierwotna kwota dotyczyła wyłącznie niemowląt.

​Wskazówka dla innych: Bardzo dokładnie sprawdzajcie przedziały wiekowe dzieci przy rezerwacji, bo na miejscu możecie zostać niemile zaskoczeni wysoką dopłatą, której obiekt nie chce odpuścić.

Séjour agréable, appartement bien équipé et confortable , petit déjeuner varié et très bon, piscine chauffée et agréable….

Ligging buiten het centrum, zwembad,rust

I would rate 3.5 star but it's better than a 3 star so rated it a 4.

Hotel was nice looking with a sandstone canarian look and feel. Unlike many hotels in Tenerife, it has very little gradient so not bad for people with walking issues. However there's no lifts to rooms as only lift is in reception which only takes you to pool, restaurant/bar and luggage storage.

Hotel was quite far out from Playa las Américas and Los Cristianos with about 25-30 minutes walk or a taxi is about €6-€8 per way. Hotel offers a once-a-day bus service to Siam Park and Resort town leaving at 10:15am and pickup at 5:30pm. It's not so great as for the price of hotel, would of expected a more frequent service similar to other hotels.

There's a Mercadona supermarket about 5-10 minutes walk away and there's a on-site supermarket that is quite overpriced as expected.

Rooms were nice with quite comfortable beds however the pillows were quite flat/soft for my liking. Rooms have a hob-top, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. You need to take own washing liquid and sponge/cloth. Only issue we had was the door had to be properly slammed shut and push/pulled to close it and the manual twist door lock never worked. Shower was powerful with a rainfall head, had 2 sinks and 1 toilet but didn't have a bidet.

We had 1 cockroach in the bathroom but just got rid of it ourselves but it's not something the hotel can completely avoid. Our room sat outside the kid play area which wasn't loud and some families were there at crack of dawn.

The pool is big and has 3 pools with one being a child pool. Never tried food or drink in hotel so can't comment on that.

All in all, it's a slightly above average hotel but it ain't a 4 star hotel. Would say a 3.5 star

Just stayed here for a week with my wife and 3yo son, it’s been great.
The general atmosphere is nice and all the staff are really friendly especially to the children, the place is very clean and tidy and the heated pool is nice.
We stayed half board and the breakfast and dinner options are buffet style for both and always lots of choice - even for a child.
The evening meal also has a grill where you can order a freshly cooked pork / lamb chop or steak etc.
The rooms are very spacious and beds made daily.
It’s about a 20min walk into Playa das Americas.
Ticks all the boxes for us, will definitely try to come back here again.

Staff other than reception were great and very friendly. Sadly that is the only positive.

Reception staff dismissive and in denial of issues.

Hot water in our room was Orange/Brown and left everything greasy. Reported to reception who said there is no issues with the water.
Returned next day to say still and issue and was told must be our room only as no other complaints - except our friends on the other side of the complex with the exact same issue.

Bathroom flooded on first night due to a badly fitted shower. Used towels provided to stop spread of water. When asked reception for clean towels as ours were used to stop leak - told clean towels not available every day.
Then promised towels would be delivered to our room.
3 more trips to reception over 2 days of promises before we received towels.
Room was tired and needed a refresh.

General cleanliness of site and room not good. Only had cleaners in our room the last two days of a weeks stay.

Not recommended.

Other than the location and friendly staff downstairs not worth visiting.

Killed 7 cockroaches.
Constant stream of ghost ants.
But that is the reality in heat and humidity.

Squeaky bathroom door handle.

Bed springs were squeaky and woke my partner multiple times.

Balcony door couldn't lock, which was fixed within 15 minutes of reporting it to main desk.

Spiderwebs and dust next to baseboards and in corners. Bathroom hasn't been scrubbed for a long, long time. Cleaning is poor.

Baseboards had couple huge gaps between each other, easy fix which hadn't been done. Would improve feeling of the room a lot.

Handles in bathroom are about to fall of if you touch them, do not lean or you and handle both will fall.

Clothes drying rack wobbly and bent.

Bathroom stayed too moist long after showering, no squeegee to remove excess water.

Otherwise, huge rooms and nice views from balcony.
Location of the Hotel is a bit far so be prepared to walk a lot.
Supermarket in same building is expensive, cheaper and bigger supermarket Mercadona is in short walk distance.

Air condition was working well and rooms were perfect temperature all the time.

Golf Resort as in view, no direct access to Golf area.

A 15 minute walk to bars and restaurants but don’t worry if walking in heat isn’t for you as you can get a taxi for only 5 euros and they are readily available.
The cleaners come in daily but only make up the bed and leave fresh towels which some of them could do with replacing as they have stains on, they don’t actually clean anything.

If you are deciding wether to go all inclusive or not then I strongly advise not to, far more enjoyable and cost effective to eat out, the lettuce was covered in dead bugs and that was from a baguette I ordered and paid for. When my husband raised this with the receptionist she basically called him a liar said there were no bugs and that her colleague was eating said baguette 🤢 no apology just dismissed him.

The hotel rooms are nice we had a family apartment and really liked the set up, the pool was clean but they don’t wash down the sun loungers so a lot are covered in bird poo and some chewing gum.

Only 1 staff member very friendly and that was Carlos who was at the pool bar. Pool bar is cash only so make sure to take some euros with you.

Breakfast was very good

The hotel itself was lovely. Very spacious rooms with everything we needed. No rooms overlooking us and we were in a first floor apartment overlooking the pool and golf course.
We were on a bed, breakfast and evening meal basis. The food left a lot to be desired. Both the morning and evening hot food was not very appealing and looked like it had been there for some time. There was a reasonable selection but only the cereal and pastries looked appetising not forgetting the omelettes which were made to order.
The hotel is in a great location up above the town with about a 15/20 minute stroll to the beach, though there is a bus that goes once every morning and will bring you back in the late afternoon.
There is a large heated pool and a smaller unheated one.
