This place is awesome and the drinks are great. You’re 40 stories up and the service/staff is so friendly. Ernesto was my server and he was just so good. If you want a view and a good cocktail, come here.
Love the atmosphere of this place! And nothing can beat the views of Mexico City below while you’re enjoying brunch. The staff is top-notch as well, Ernesto was my fav. Very attentive and kind. Will be back!

My husband and I traveled to CDMX for our 10 year wedding anniversary and stayed at the Sofitel. The staff were incredible—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The location is perfect for walking or biking to several museums and right next to the beautiful Roma Norte neighborhood. The restaurants at Sofitel are all delicious and offer a variety of experiences whether you are just grabbing a drink or dining in. Lastly, our room was incredible and was perfect for a luxurious anniversary trip.
It was our third time in Mexico City but our first time staying at the Sofitel Mexico City Reforma.
We had a wonderful stay, from start to finish. I could go on and on about the room (spacious, clean, all the amenities you could think of), the spa, the breakfast buffet (so many delicious options but don't skip the vanilla concha, it's a favorite for a reason), the location. However, it is the staff that truly makes this hotel special. They are kind and genuine and will go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and taken care of. Thank you to Alan and Daniela (Reception), Adrian, Diego and Hector (Balta for breakfast), Adam and Jose (Balta for breakfast) for helping to make our anniversary so special.

Food and ambiance is amazing. Had the perfect view of Mexico City! Deffinitely need to come back for a visit. Our server Ernesto was very attentive and kind.
I have stayed here before and the level of service and cleanliness is still as good as ever. The main standout is that the staff are super friendly, willing to help with anything, and create a great experience. Most of them speak pretty good english as well. There are a great selection of facilities on site from bars and restaurants, the spa, the pool with a view to die for, the trendy club/bar overlooking the city, and lets not forget the club lounge. If you have the right status with Accor you get free club lounge, or buy a club room as its gives you stunning views on the 36th floor, inclusive food for most of the day and a fabulous array of drinks including alcohol. The location is fabulous with plenty of shops and malls and restaurants within walking distance and ubers seem to come and go with ease.
If I hade one complaint it would be its pretty expensive compared to other 5 start hotels in Mexico City but as they say you get what you pay for! The true measure would be would you stay again..... yes I would.

This is a very sleek modern property that is all glass, and that is actually built on top of a preserved antique mansion! This place is really modern and very cool! The views from our suite were mind blowing ..totally worth the price of admission. This property is in a perfect location, as opposed to the other luxury hotel properties in the central Reforma district, this hotel is the most central.
The reason that I rank this hotel five stars is its staff! We were checked in on the club level by Abraham, who presented me with a welcome cocktail and looked after us for our entire stay. Thank you, Abraham. your service throughout our stay was magnificent!
We were greeted and picked up at the airport in a Cadillac Escalade by the great Jonathan Diaz, who became personally responsible for making our trip truly outstanding!
I requested the hotel concierge to have Jonathan take us on two incredible tours, which I will never forget. He took us through neighborhood after neighborhood that most of you will never see unless you take this tour. It was fantastic! At the end of the second tour, per my request, Jonathan, who is a super passionate and knowledgeable tour guide took us to the trendiest Taqueria in all of Mexico City for a mind blowing lunch!
Jonathan‘s outstanding service and passion and a love for what he does is so impressive, it typified the whole vibration at the Sofitel. Jonathon is a true hospitality guru.
Kudos please Sofitel to Juan who served us so warmly at Cityzen Rooftop which was great …but once again it’s the staff.. Juan was engaging and knowledgeable and a really nice guy ..he made our meal outstanding! Please see my previous reviews. I know a winner when I see one and this is a great hotel property. Lovely pool, great breakfast
The rooftop restaurant charges an exorbitant up front fee, and when we didn’t spend it all in the first night refused to give us credit to spend it another day. Not very guest friendly…
This hotel is a quiet, luxurious escape in the middle of the hustle and bustle of wonderful Mexico City. The staff were so warm and friendly, always happy to provide tips on the city. Rooms were immaculately clean and well maintained.
