Modern, spacious accommodation with beautiful sunset views just a short drive from all amenities.
Pros:

By far the best accommodation during our 2 weeks in Newfoundland. Updated, modern, clean, spacious suite with sitting area and two queen beds over looking the Gulf of St. Lawrence. The sun was setting right off our little balcony for a spectacular end to each evening. Highlights from Rocky Harbour: Buoy & Arrow restaurant, JavaJacks cafe, Woody Point and the Tablelands, Western Brook Pond Tour. Wish we had stayed longer!

Cons:

Small complaint: the barn door on bathroom looked great but offered little privacy as it doesn’t close tightly.

Mediocre, but adequate
Pros:

We rented a 3 bedroom apartment. Although when you look at the listing online it appears that you will be staying in view of the harbor, once you get a confirmation you find out where it actually is. The company owns several apartments in town, so the listing photos must be a composite of several places. We were a few blocks back from the water, and it was fine, although we had to drive anywhere we wanted to go (we had children with us).
The kitchen area was tiny but had all the basics.
Check in and out was super easy, the apartment was clean.

Cons:

The bed in the front bedroom was shaped like a canoe and very soft - very uncomfortable for us. The other two bedrooms had similarly soft beds but were flat (as should be).
The 3 bdrm apartment was located in the inside corner of a building in the shape of an "L". The only windows in our unit were in the front door and a window in each bedroom leaving the living area dimly lit.

Enjoyed our cottage, owners were great. The Wifi was spotty at best and the power was out for awhile
Pros:

It rained alot 😑. The TV reception was spotty and the restaurants were expensive. Food wasn't very good.

A great base of operations for visiting Gros Morne.
Pros:

It was a nice convenient location, centrally located and with easy access to all the sites we were looking to visit. The checkout location was easy to find, and checking out was simple due to the drop-off box.

Cons:

I am not sure that the bathtub was cleaned properly. The water was not draining properly, which should have been noticeable if filled with water. I removed a large amount of hair from the drain, and then it worked properly.

It was lovely, clearly new and up to date

Cons:

Low toilet. Alot of seniors travel and the toilets are low. Maybe install a bar? Higher toilet seat. I have left this comment everywhere Ive been this trip. Most of the ppl Ive met have said the same thing🤷‍♀️

My chosen place in Rocky Harbour.
Pros:

The junior suite is well furnished and location is very good. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is sparkling clean.

Cons:

The carpet and walls require some cleaning.

It was ok, but we didn’t sleep very well on beds. Appreciated how clean everything was.
Pros:

It was clean. Washer and dryer available. Check in staff were lovely! Nice big bathroom for sharing with a separate tub/shower and another shower.

Cons:

Beds were not very comfortable. Blankets were thin. No napkins or paper towel. We don’t generally have to provide that when we book a place with cooking facilities.
