Pros:

Staff were friendly .

Cons:

Told we were upgraded . We had booked a twin queen bed room. They gave us a single queen bed room. Old musty smell in room. Noisy air con.wall blown out and cracked .carpet looked old and dirty . Tiny corner shower with a curtain. Certainly not an upgrade . Requested another room .we got a king bed room . But just qasnt nice.Not the novetel stay we imagined. I couldn't recommend overpriced for condition of rooms

The price was way to much for what we got. The bathroom had lots of mould behind the door and all through the grout

Cons:

Parking was located in a different building. When I checked out it was raining heavily so I was wet getting to my car which was pretty annoying.

Disappointed
Pros:

This is a great hotel, not being maintained properly.

Cons:

The bath had a stain on it, the phone didn't work and some guy had to come into my room with 'the good remote' before Netflix would work.

The staff were exceptional
Location was great

Cons:

The room is run down, no kettle in room which staff fixed up. No lights worked in the 2nd bedroom. The shower door seal was hanging off so bathroom floor was saturated.

Good position but very old and tired interior. Staff try hard, but don't have much to work with.
Pros:

Good position. Nice outdoor cafe area on corner. Staff nice but under-resourced.

Cons:

Nothing in the mini-bar apart from diet coke. Aircon noisy. Foyer smells dank. Phone in room didn't work (no dial tone). Bathroom leaked water everywhere when showering. Didn't eat there. No normal tea bags.

Cons:

We were upgraded??? But I think it was to make room for other guests as it wasn't an upgrade at all. We were meant to have 2 beds, ended up with 1 and supposedly had city views but it was of the hotel across the road.
