The hotel is old and not maintained very well at all. Smells horrible. The couch was so dirty looking was afraid to sit

It was close to the mall. The staff was nice.

Cons:

The room was musky. The cleaners did not clean good and did not replenish soap or teas and forgot one day and I had to call to get room cleaned and replenished.
They also had to come
Change the air filter after we complained about the smell.

Pros:

The location was great close to the beach and plenty of places to eat nearby and at the hotel. and they have housekeeping services everyday.

Cons:

Paying for parking at 55.00 a day. Holding out an additional 500.00 is crazy for a deposit.

Outstanding Service; Order the 🍄 Pasta!
Pros:

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at GALLERYone by DoubleTree Suites by Hilton! We came from upstate New York with my mom, who was visiting from Florida, along with our best friends, and from the moment we arrived we were treated like family.

A special thank you to the gentleman who took such great care of us at the outdoor bar and inside restaurant, and for their outstanding hospitality. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and its employees like them who turn a great hotel into a memorable experience.

We also have to talk about the food… whatever mushroom pasta the restaurant served is still on our minds months later! It was honestly one of the best pasta dishes we’ve ever had. We’ve actually joked (and maybe not entirely joked!) about flying back down from upstate New York just to have that mushroom pasta again.

Thank you to everyone who made our stay so special. The service, the atmosphere, and the genuine hospitality made this a trip we’ll never forget. We can’t wait to come back as soon as we can. Highly recommend staying here—you won’t be disappointed! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Aly, the valet is amazing
Pros:

The hotel is nice, but the valet is amazing. Aly the valet, was super nice, courteous, pleasant to speak with and provided me solutions to a problem that he truly didn’t have to deal with, but because he’s a kind person. His customer service alone is a great reason to come back to this location. He deserves a huge raise.

Amazing Stay! Can’t wait to return!!
Pros:

Despite a little blip at the beginning regarding our room ( which was resolved almost immediately by the manager Pete a really lovely guy) we had the most amazing time at this hotel the atmosphere and staff were amazing, our room and our amazing views everything surpassed itself we didn’t want to leave!
We have stayed in many hotels in Fort Lauderdale I have been coming since 1989 including the Sheraton Yankee trader (my favourite childhood hotel no longer there) the Westin on the beach the Hilton etc etc and although this hotel isn’t as up market as some of the others it certainly didn’t disappoint it had the old Fort Lauderdale charm and atmosphere something that I had missed for a long time! We are already looking at booking for next year and every year after that if we can!!
A BIG THANK YOU TO PETE AND TO KIM for both being amazing honestly cannot fault the team!!

Big disappointment
Pros:

Dirty coffee mug left by the coffee maker
Loose sliding door glass pane that is a safety hazard and caused mugginess in the room.
Strong smell of moisture in the corridors.
