Customer service scandalous, lies, etc.
Pros:

L'emplacement.

Cons:

Awakened at 1:am by a smoke alarm, followed by a room change proposed by the Front Desk. (The other option was to call the house engineer to fix the alarm, which would take "at least" en hour.)
We were then awakened again at 8h30 am by the Front Desk: "You need to transfer your suitcases immediately from the initial room so the housecleaners can clean it. The house-cleaning manager says so".
Our answer: out of the question. We were awakened once again after a short night. What was the rush? Check-In is in the afternoon. After vérification, the ear-breaking beeps in our initiatial room continued: we, and the housecleaners would have to endure them?
We answered: as according to our reservation, we would checkout by noon.
The lies.
The engineer said the alarm went off because.. we smoked in the room... À lie!! One of us smoked 2 cigarettes outside on the side-walk in the evening. She NEVER smokes in à room!!! We were WOKEN UP AT 1:00 AM. The Front Desk said at that time that the batteries were dead. The engineer, then, was trying to cover his back but the hôtel ACCUSED us!
The second lie: when confronted in the morning, about the brutal wake-up call, the house-cleaning manager said "we were told the initiatial room was empty".
Rubbish- we were waken up by that call, the young woman at the Front Desk could not have invented this.. Then there is the fact that the alarm was still on.
And the room?
Small, the bathroom was big but the sliding door didn't close, so problem of intimacy.
A good bed, but one tableside light didn't work.
Result: after much tense exchange, the hôtel honored our request for not paying for that second night, and for some further compensation.
We are still waiting for the apology letter for the insult and lie about smoking un the room.
Know that we are seniors: the short night, the following tense relations dealing with lies, hurt the quality of our vacation, that from France, cost alot.

Hotel moderno, confortável, bem localizado e com excelente custo-benefício.
Pros:

O hotel oferece uma excelente relação custo-benefício. Apesar de não ser luxuoso, possui uma decoração moderna e agradável, camas confortáveis e instalações de boa qualidade. O atendimento foi excelente, e a localização é conveniente. Nao ha muitos mendigos perto do hotel, o que ja é muito conveniente.

Cons:

Não houve nenhum aspecto negativo relevante durante minha estadia. O check-in era as 16:00 cheguei as 12:00 e infelizmente meu quarto não estava pronto, mas compreendo que são regras comuns de hospedagem.

Hotel nice, staff very unhelpful

Cons:

Reception and customer service is very poor. On checking in they couldn’t find our bookings took another person to come along and find it. We had a bag containing new shirts purchased from hard rock, taken from room , we gave the cleaning staff the benefit of doubt in that the bag may have been taken out by mistake. On check out the manager agreed to refund one night stay, we have contacted numerous times even booking. Com have tried, no response to either. Our room which was overlooking the cold store units made the room vibrate.

For those who don't want to stay at the same old chain hotel. Has personality
Pros:

I liked the general vibe. It felt like San Francisco instead of a cookie cutter big box hotel. Really cool game room and a fun bar/ restaurant area.

No frills, no fancies and the car parking was $65 a night.
Pros:

The hotel was in a great location nut as a city centre boutique hotel you would expect more.
Breakfast was in side restaurant with limited menu and F&B has to be ordered at the counter - no table service.
We supposedly had free breakfast but we were only given 2 x $22 vouchers that hardy covered the food.

Cons:

No frills, no fancies and the car parking was $65 a night.

The public areas could have done with a good clean. We booked in as two couples and we both booked on booking. Com we were given a room that had no wardrobe one draw and had to live out of our suitcase for three days our friends had a room with walk in wardrobe much bigger room and bottle of wine as wellcome gift, why the difference

Comfortable stay in a large room in one of the better areas around Union Square
Pros:

Location was good for the area but still a bit unsafe. Room was a good size, comfortable with a good desk for work. Bathroom was small but well laid out. Hotel itself was nicely decorated. The windows opened which is great for SF.

Cons:

Room was dark with windows facing onto a concrete wall. There is a lot of noise through the ceiling from the room above I could hear every footstep
