Hilton Kuching

My recent stay at the Hilton Kuching was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I felt an immediate sense of warmth and welcome that truly made the hotel feel like a home away from home.

A special thank you to Siti, Zeyen, Aaron, Mardiana, Shania, Awang, and Florieca — and the many other wonderful team members whose names I may have missed. Every single staff member I encountered was gracious, attentive, and genuinely caring. It was clear that hospitality here is not just a job, but something the team takes great pride in. The way everyone extended themselves to ensure my stay was comfortable and seamless was deeply appreciated.

My King Premier room overlooking the waterfront was absolutely stunning. Waking up to that view each morning was a joy — peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect way to experience Kuching’s charm.

The buffet breakfast each morning was another highlight. A fantastic spread, delicious options, and a relaxed ambience that made it something to look forward to every day. The overall vibe of the hotel is simply lovely — warm, welcoming, and full of life.

Kuching itself is such a wonderful city with incredible people, and Hilton Kuching reflects that spirit perfectly.

I can honestly say I’ve rarely felt so comfortable and cared for while travelling. Kudos to the entire team for creating such a memorable experience.

I will absolutely be returning — and I already look forward to my next stay.

This time our stay extended to more than a week with quite a few changes in our itinerary.
The front office and reservations team accommodated all changes with the utmost efficiency. Karrie from reservations and Brodie and his magic front office team were most helpful.

All guest encounters across all departments were always happy moments of magic: Siti and Ethan greeting us at the door, Farah, Bong, Ivan, Steve and all the others at front office being super courteous.

We dined in all outlets and Helen and Haidir looked after us very well in the Chinese restaurant, so did Wahadi and Puan Mastura in the coffee shop.
Sheila and Alessi did a great job in the Executive Lounge. Harith sent us off to the airport.

Hilton Kuching is the only real 5 star hotel in Kuching that is true to its brand and always lives up to its standards.

Congratulations to Adrian and his team for creating such a fantastic service culture. It is very rare to find a hotel that consistently provides such personalised and efficient service.

The location is absolutely perfect - ideal for walking along the river, or into the town centre. The swimming pool area is relaxing and clean, with an attractive pool bar and fluffy towels. Breakfast is very good indeed - although perhaps it needs 2 people manning the eggs/pancakes stand, as it can get busy.
Our room was spacious with a large TV, and extensive window overlooking the river - perfect for watching the evening lights and firework displays from the pedestrian bridge.
If I have one complaint (and it is very small) is that having used the pool every day, there is absolutely nowhere in the room to dry the swimming costumes, not even the built-in line across the shower. This meant climbing into damp swimmers every time - quite refreshing !

The hotel stay was fine. However, their change of dates / cancellation policies are unforgiving. It has been an expensive lesson! Will never stay there again.

Best of the best 5 stars staycation place on strategic location of Kuching City Center. Reasonable room rate, great pool, food and beverages, in room dining, spacious room size and excellent wellness facilities (pool and sauna FTW). Thank you Ms. Fara from reception for efficient check in process and room upgrade, Mr. Jeremy and River View Cafe staffs for great breakfast, pool and gym attendant staffs, and all Hilton Kuching staffs for great services and hospitality.

My wife and I I recently returned to Hilton Kuching for a two night stay and it was like coming home to our private residence in Kuching.

Adrian had prepared all the registration documentation and stepped out from behind the desk to welcome us back and hand us the keys.

Helen and Terry also extended a personalised greeting and quickly seated us in the Chinese Restaurant for dinner where the food, as always, was delicious. We were looked after very well in the Executive Lounge by Petros, Sheila and Aless.

The room, overlooking the fantastic tableau of the Sarawak River, Fort Margarita and Mount Santubong at the horizon, was spotlessly clean and all the facilities were in good working order. WiFi reception is strong and stable. I like the new dispensers in the bathroom.

One outstanding feature of Hilton Kuching is its consistency and reliability in service delivery regardless of how busy the hotel is. It runs like clockwork and is testament to the professionalism and dedication of its management team and all staff. There is always a positive vibe in this hotel.

Upon departure, Brodie bid us farewell in the lobby and we certainly are looking forward to our next visit.

Spent 4 nights in the executive suite with a fantastic view of the river. Staff so friendly and food on the cooking stations for breakfast was very good. My scrambled eggs were delious. Executive lounge was a great place to relax. Thank you Hilton for making our stay so enjoyable.

The river view room has a great view! The room is clean, the bathroom could be bigger, but overall it's good.
The ground floor staff seem to be knowledgabe.

Travelled here with family as a celebratory trip for ny husband and daughter and am so glad that I chose Hilton, Kuching. The service here is exceptional and the warmth exuded is genuine and fantastic. They made special effort knowing that it was a birthday outing by decorating the room, my husband and daughter's faces were pricesless when they walked into the room. In addition, there was also cake served as a surprise, truly fantastic hospitality! Really appreciate the team and hard work. Further, the Hilton Kuching team kept updated about my experience through Whatsapp, and this was simply amazing. A simple Whatsapp.message and they get things arranged for you! Would definitely recommend this hotel to all those seeking comfort warmth and luxury!

Breakfast is good and services is great. Room is comfortable.

As usual. Hilton did not disappoint. Check-in is fast. Room is clean and everything works. Food was good especially the Chinese restaurant.

Here for a conference with husband. Positives: Great sleep quality, large room, great staff and good location. The pool area is amazing. Pool is good size and no crowds.. no lounger hogging ...i really enjoyed the staff at the pool too. Front door guys are very helpful. Negatives: The food was a little of a disappointment: at breakfast the muffins and donuts were awful, the fruit quality not fantastic. No halal bacon. Vegetable and salad items very limited. Room service had both western and local dishes and wjile local dish was OK the fish and chips was not super fresh,( maybe sat a while before delivery) no salt provided and the chips had a strange taste...not great. Carepet needs replacement. I felt there was cost cutting here...the slippers were the worst quality more like day spa slippers. Slippers are important when the room carpet is old. Room just a kettle no coffee pod machine although good cafe in foyer. For the price overall a little disappointing.

One of the best hotels we have been to. The location by the river and the views excellent. The room overlooking the river outstanding. From the reception and pool to the executive lounge one of the best, good food, the best service ever and the view.....

From the moment I arrived, I was amazed by the warm professionalism of the entire team. My room was upgraded to executive suite overlooking sarawak river. It was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged for maximum comfort. Not to mentioned the attention to details—from high-quality amenities to prompt room service and the facilties.

A special mention goes to the wonderful breakfast selections at their restaurant—especially the Wok Frying section( freshly made to order char kuey teow, mee goreng mamak and bihun goreng). A must try menu while you are in Hilton Kuching.

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to Mr. Adrian Teh, the General Manager, for taking the time to engage in a friendly chit-chat session during my stay. His personal touch, including the handwritten Kuching city postcard acknowledging my works of promoting hilton on Instagram, truly stood out. It was a meaningful and memorable gesture.

Kudos as well to Ms. Liew for her outstanding hospitality. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine care reflect the very best of what Hilton stands for. She even took the time to personally communicate with me on her day off—a true testament to her dedication. As a sarawakian herself, she truly reflecting great sarawakian and hilton hospitality combined!!

Thank you to All Front Desk and Executive lounge team: Mr Steve, Ms Shila, Mr Egan for taking care of me during my stay. Not to forget to Chef Nazrin, Chef Jovian Chia, Mr Wahady, Ms Fernie and Ms Betty for a wonderful breakfast experience. I miss Char Kuey Teow and Mee Goreng mamak already!!! Kudos to Chef Nazrin and the team. Simply delicious and addicted.

We stayed at Hilton Kuching from 23/8 to 25/8, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Our original plan was to stay at another hotel, but due to a last-minute booking issue, we decided to call Hilton directly. From that very first phone call, everything was handled smoothly. The operator was so helpful, and I managed to book instantly via phone.

Upon arrival, check-in was seamless, and the hotel was able to accommodate our request for connecting rooms without any hassle. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and professional, and what truly impressed us was the Hilton Magic Team, who even WhatsApped me to check on our room arrangements, such a thoughtful touch.

The rooms themselves were newly refurbished, modern, and very comfortable, with an absolutely stunning view facing the waterfront. Waking up to that scenery was just amazing.

Breakfast was another highlight – a wide spread with plenty of local and international options. We especially loved the Mee Kolo (a must-try!) and the freshly pressed juice station, which was such a refreshing addition.

To top it off, we had a change of plans and needed to check out a day earlier. Despite the very short notice, the front desk immediately said they would speak to the finance manager, and I later received a text confirming that we would be refunded for the unused night. This level of flexibility and customer care really exceeded our expectations.

Overall, Hilton Kuching truly saved our trip and turned what started as a stressful situation into a memorable, enjoyable stay. From the warm hospitality to the excellent rooms and food, everything was spot on.

We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Kuching!

Two years ago, I celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Hilton Kuching buffet. I brought along my aunty, who was a vegetarian. Chef Naz went out of his way to prepare a special vegetarian pizza and Vietnamese wrap just for her. My aunty was so happy that day. Sadly, two months later, she passed away.

Every time I come back here and see Chef Naz, it brings back the memory of that beautiful evening and the smile on my aunty’s face. Today, I celebrated my daughter’s birthday here again, and I am reminded of how much those thoughtful gestures mean.

Thank you, Hilton Kuching, and especially Chef Naz, for creating not just great food, but also lasting memories.

This is a fabulous hotel . The welcome we received when checking in was wonderful . We received an unexpected upgrade to Riverview room which was amazing . We had views all along the beautiful waterfront . Which was stunning when nightfall came and all the area lit up with a myriad of coloured lights .
The breakfast was plentiful and delicious !We also ate in the Riverview Cafe and had coffee downstairs in coffee shop area .food and drinks at both were exceptionally good .
The staff throughout the hotel were warm , friendly and exceedingly helpful The premises were spotlessly clean and well cared for .
It had a quiet calm ambience throughout .
It certainly is a 5 Star hotel which gave us a 5 Star visit to Kuching .

I recently had a short staycation at Hilton Kuching, and it turned out to be just what I needed calm, comfortable, and refreshing. The staff were warm and welcoming but not so friendly, check-in was smooth and quick.

The upgraded King Guest Room with River View and the room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with all the essentials. The stunning view of the Sarawak River right from my window especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset. which made the stay even more enjoyable. and offered a stunning view of the Sarawak River.

Breakfast was good and variety of both local and international options. I especially enjoyed the laksa, kolo mee and fresh tropical fruits — a true Sarawakian touch!

The location is perfect for a staycation. It’s right by the Kuching Waterfront, so I could take relaxing evening walks, and there are plenty of cafes and local attractions within walking distance. Hilton Kuching delivered a memorable and rejuvenating staycation. Whether you’re a local looking for a weekend retreat or a visitor wanting a riverside escape, this hotel is a solid choice. I’ll definitely be back.
