Lovely stay with a few avoidable oversights
Pros:

The bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff were all very lovely. As a guest of the hotel, I was also given complimentary entry to a paid event that was happening in the bar area, which was a really nice touch.

Cons:

I was surprised that, because I was travelling alone, it was assumed I would be a ‘Mr’, and all automated correspondence was addressed as ‘Dear Mr’.

Despite advising that this was incorrect and being assured it would be updated, I continued to receive correspondence addressed this way. It was disappointing that this was not corrected.

I was also not advised prior to check-in that the pool area would be closed. As this is a key amenity for many guests, advance notice would have been appreciated, as it may have influenced my decision to proceed with the booking.

Cons:

Bathroom doors are not private at all. It is a sliding door which has a massive gap between for someone to see inside. They may aswell leave the door off.

The bedding was extremely comfortable !

Cons:

After checkout we needed to use the bathroom and we had to go to the one of the restaurant - it wasn’t wow.

The entrance area was excellent

Cons:

The room was dated and facilities not up to standard I would expect from a 5* hotel.

The room was adequate in comparison to the shared gallery pictures which is deceiving:

The pool as out of action which is exceptionally frustrating as this was the facility we particularly had planned on using.

Perfekte zentrale Lage mit einem schönen geräumigen Zimmer
Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr schön und geräumig. Die Lage war zentral und trotzdem war es angenehm ruhig. Das Badezimmer hat keine Wünsche offen lassen. Wir waren wirklich begeistert und freuen uns darauf wenn wir wieder in LA sind dort zu buchen.

Good staff reception. Good accommodations and lounge and restaurant on site. Close to Beverly Center Mall for shoppers.

Cons:

Crowded area, next to major medical facilities and shopping center. The nightly price was higher than other LA accommodations if you don't want luxury service.
