Pros:

The location was convenient

Cons:

The toilet is old and won’t allow me to flush down the toilet paper; I can hear footsteps and noises from the room above me; the bottle the hotel provides for me to fill with water is leaking

Great Location, No Pool and Hotel Nighclub takeover
Pros:

Location was excellent, beds very comfy.

Cons:

Pool was closed which we were not advised about pre booking, LA was under red weather warning so pool would have been welcome. We had to book day passes at another hotel.

Hotel was also turmed into a nighclub for 2 of the evenings we were there, guests couldn't use bar or restaurant, again no communication on this.

If you have breakfast included, note that its off a small menu choice, if you have the bowl of yoghurt and granola, thats it, nothing else, would be nice to have bread etc.

Cons:

Breakfast was disappointing, not a buffet style, pre-paying for it was a mistake, if I knew it would be just a menu order of 1 portion, I would not buy it in advance, not worth it.

Lovely stay with a few avoidable oversights
Pros:

The bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff were all very lovely. As a guest of the hotel, I was also given complimentary entry to a paid event that was happening in the bar area, which was a really nice touch.

Cons:

I was surprised that, because I was travelling alone, it was assumed I would be a ‘Mr’, and all automated correspondence was addressed as ‘Dear Mr’.

Despite advising that this was incorrect and being assured it would be updated, I continued to receive correspondence addressed this way. It was disappointing that this was not corrected.

I was also not advised prior to check-in that the pool area would be closed. As this is a key amenity for many guests, advance notice would have been appreciated, as it may have influenced my decision to proceed with the booking.
