Pros:

Everything MS. AMBER HALL MADE ME FEEL WELCOMED AND HAD EVERYTHING I NEED SHES THE BEST. ALWAYS SMILING AND DOES HER JOB WELL. LONG AS SHE'S HERE ILL FOREVER FEEL WELCOMED

Perfectly clean and comfortable accommodations for an overnight stay.
Cons:

The facility was being painted with spray paint. We had planned to leave our car there while on a cruise. We changed our plans so we wouldn’t risk paint overspray on our vehicles.
I wish there had been a better plan in place to shuttle us to the cruise terminal. That also contributed to changing our plans.

Galveston low budget high location
Pros:

Great value for location. Romantic walking distance to the fishing pier for evening and sunrise.

Cons:

Was under construction 🏗️ RR shelf fell on me. No hairdryer or amenities like breakfast.

Economical, fast, good service.
Pros:

I LOVED it was so close to the Seawall on 61st. I also liked the design changes of the room/bathroom. Front desk allowed us to check in late and was very personable. We were accommodated even though we booked a few hours in advance. Even though there was construction- it was quiet for our stay.

Cons:

There was a puddle in the room, we assume was from moving the mini fridge to paint. We just laid towels down. The place is currently under construction- we thought it was closed when we passed. We had tape on our peephole- in the morning we realized it was from the painters... but still scared us because we weren't expecting it when we looked out. Felt like our room needed a once over before we went in.. but we understood it was last minute.

Didn't find out until I arrived that motel was doing renovation and most of rooms were not usable and not TV service, bugs in the room and decor and equipment in the room was very outdated.

Clean out the crackheads
Pros:

There was a cigarette butt in the toilet they were gnats flying all over the room a crackhead came to the door and introduced himself and said it's good that there are bloods in the neighborhood then went on down as he stared in my room when he walked by it was creepy

Made reservations months ago was not informed any pf the construction. No TV on the room was wasn't made aware of that until check in. Would of went with a another hotel had we been made a aware and it was too late for us to stay anywhere else. Horrible experience and felt we should of been giving a discount or something.
