Not terrible but below Marriott standards
Pros:

If you're staying at a Marriott, it's almost always at least acceptable. That was true here. Certainly not a terrible experience. However, they list "hot tub" (which my wife and I value), but the "hot" tub was lukewarm (probably 85 degrees, maybe 90 tops) and had dirty form in it. Also, there were no towels in the pool area. So overall a disappointment and we will not be staying there again.

I don’t appreciate that Booking.com quoted a rate less than I was charged by the hotel. I called the property ahead of the visit to confirm the price and was told it would be in excess of $100 more than the booking.com quoted rate. I then called booking.com to let them know. The associate was on the phone with me for an hour then confirmed I would be charged the quoted booking.com rate. The hotel charged my card in excess of $100 more. When checking out, the hotel employee said “it’s not that much more” and couldn’t do anything about it. Further, the room was not cleaned ONCE during our entire stay! Terrible service!!

Pros:

James Snith at the front desk is always a pleasure. He’s always in a good mood and helpful. He’s one of the many reasons I always stay at this hotel when I’m in Paducah!
