Courtyard Paducah West

Our room had a rattling air-conditioner, hard to sleep. No soap in the shower soap dispenser. No water when we checked it, The lady at desk was very friendly and had me get one out where they sell them. The lady at Briscoe was rude, how she said, "We open at 5!" it was 4:45pm. Could of said, "I'm sorry, we open in 15 mins."
No towels at pool.
Our first night the door wouldn't open.

The room was very nice and clean and im a great location

Great service from staff; considerate; gave us directions.

No room service, we were there for three.days , had to ask for additional towels and picked them up at front desk, there was a bus load of kids that spent the night under no supervision and the management acted like it was our problem....kids playing basketball ball in the hall at 11 pm. Then banging on doors as they ran by.......we had to call the local police..
Yes at the Courtyard by Marriott in Paducah...

Clean sheets, excellent front desk, and good amenities.

Really want to love this hotel as part of it is great, but as others have pointed out some staff (for us one person) ruined it.

After checking in for one night, we met friends for dinner and decided we wanted to stay another night to explore. When we got back to the hotel, I asked if we could get the same rate and stay for another night. The desk clerk we spoke with had a knee brace and crutches and a bad attitude. After some discussion and verifying my rate asked for our keys so she could extend our stay.

When we checked out, I noticed we had been charged almost $50 more. I went downstairs to ask about the extra charge and the same clerk was on duty. I mentioned the extra charge and she initially told me it was the “incidental” charge that would be reimbursed, I showed her on the bill it was in fact a charge and was told she did not know how to make the change to the bill. After some more discussion she told me only managers could make changes to the charge and they would not be in until approximately 10 am. I asked for a call back, which they did and the charge was corrected. Warning here is as others have said some workers have terrible attitudes. Everyone else I dealt with was awesome. Also, watch your bills.

Also on the negative side, when we woke up and wanted to take a shower, the bottle of conditioner was empty, this is the 3rd hotel a shower item was empty when we arrived, this shouldn’t be that difficult.

We arrived on Saturday and left on Monday. Sunday morning was quiet, however due to construction across the street at 7 am heavy equipment woke us up.

Now for the good, the best mattress and best we have slept during our trip and this is our 9th different hotel, all major brands.

Everyone we came in contact with other than the one desk clerk was friendly and professional.

The shower, shower door and layout were GREAT, Marriott headquarters need to visit this hotel and make this shower mandatory at all other properties!

Overall, so much to like but a couple of things keep it from 5-stars but we would definitely return.

Really nice remodel hotel. Location was great for the quilt week in Paducah. The cost of the room’s breakfast should be part of the package.
