Nice location, clean new rooms
Pros:

The breakfast was great. Unlike most hotels it wasn't just loaded with carbs. Therefore, people with gluten and carb issues (Diabetics) actually have something they can eat.

Cons:

The elevators desperately in need service. We called them the haunted elevators and recommended that they be decorated for Halloween.

Pros:

虽然离市区远了点，但是酒店门口就有D40公交车，一小时直接到国家档案馆，也就是国家广场了。
房间足够大，干净，早餐很满意，我们住六个晚上。

Cons:

我们10 日1日入住酒店，前台告知3-6楼都有制冰机，这是客人饮用的冰水。但是3楼是坏的，4楼没有，5楼也是坏的，6楼没有，直到2日晚上，我不得不到前台交涉，直到3号晚上才解决。这是酒店最大的问题。

My stay was ok, an ideal location but the hotel does need more work.
Pros:

The breakfast was great. A nice variety of hot and cold foods.

Cons:

The AC unit in the room was not consistently working. I informed the front desk, who did send someone up to correct the issue but it was only a temporary fix. Shortly after the unit displayed an error message and stopped working. The unit would only start if it was unplugged and plugged back in. This would allow for 20 to 30mins of air before it stopped again.


The room had ants, a discovery that was made while eating.

First and foremost Thank you Holiday Inn Express for coming through. I am from washington dc and stayed at this hotel back in the day lol and it always kept a special place in my heart. Fast forward I moved to California met my husband Kevin and some 15 years later I decided to bring him back!! From the minute we walked in was exceptional customer service. Nothing but welcoming and love . Hotel is re done nicely by the way ! If i spell his name wrong I apologize Malachi went above and beyond for us to make sure we were GOOD so please thank him ! . Edward also made sure we were taken care of and checked on us (Kevin really appreciated it) . Those type of employees working for you is what stands you out from other hotels. All the cleaning staff were great, fast and so kind. I also want to thank Else for checking us out and thanking us for staying, I appreciated her non stop smiles . We will be back and I will recommend

The space in the room. The bathroom was clean and nice. The room was also clean and the staff were excellent.

The parking was a minor problem. Also the room keys hadn't to be redone that evening.

Our stay overall is great! Other than the above few incidents we enjoyed our stay

The Ac was too noisy and the vanity is too small and also the key for the room was giving us a hard time we can’t get in to our room when ever we come back from outside and one of the evening front desk person is not helpful at all we called him to tell him we can’t get in to our room because the key is not working he told us to hold on he has a guest when we too are a guest who are already there and he could have say just apologize for the inconvenience I will send some one for you but anyway he send one of the maintenance called Solomon which is a very helpful person and he fix the key for us for that we appreciate Solomon
