I like this hotel for its location i choose it each time whenever I transit to SG on my way to the Philippines from Aust
Pros:

The location and I like the newly renovated rooms.

Cons:

The bed is not comfortable. It feels like a foldable bed. Not very comfortable at all. Can be improved by changing your pillows and bed.

Would NOT recommend this hotel- lag of transparency
Pros:

Nice view, decent location, and a rectangle pool. We chose this hotel because it was advertised as a five-star property and was offered at a 70% discount. However, the overall experience felt closer to that of a mid-range hotel like Best Western and did not meet our expectations for a five-star stay.

Cons:

We booked a bay/city view room because we specifically wanted to enjoy the view of Marina Bay Sands (partly). Unfortunately, neither Booking.com nor the hotel information indicated that renovation work was taking place directly in the tower where our room was located.

On arrival, the staff informed us that construction noise would occur between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., which we accepted. However, the room had a persistent unpleasant odor, and we had to request room fragrance to make it tolerable.

One day, the hotel apparently used a UV/ozone device to treat the air without informing guests. When I stepped out of the elevator after returning from the pool, there was a strong, stinging smell. I immediately developed a headache and was unable to even enter my room. Still wearing my bathrobe, I had to return to the lobby and wait there for over an hour.

When I reported the issue, the only response I received was, “I’ll let the cleaning staff know.” After waiting in the lobby for more than an hour, I eventually returned to my room.

We would have appreciated more transparent communication regarding both the renovation work and the air treatment process, especially since exposure to such odors may pose health concerns. We expected a higher level of care and communication from the hotel.

A great place to stay
Pros:

The location was incredible and my room was very comfortable. I loved the view onto Raffles. The staff were very friendly and offered me a shower on the day I left as I checked out and waited for a late flight.

Fantastic location and clean comfortable rooms

Comfy stay in Singapore
Pros:

The breakfast is exceptional, with hot food from various areas of the world and even an egg/omelette station where they prepare eggs to order. The restaurant in the hotel is very good value, with good food. There is a nice outside swimming pool, and the area is convenient for getting around town (near bus stops and the metro). Raffles Hotel is practically next door. There are various decent eateries nearby. The room was very comfortable.

Cons:

Nothing--it was all very welcoming.
