Phone in room did not work and we found that out because the TV did not work we down to front office she said she would send some up no one showed I went after 30 mins the lady who was supposed to fix it walked by and said hit the imput button told her did she was like I will be there she never showed she could cared less .plus the lady working the counter had her newborn baby in a stroller @ work ? We finally figured out the TV by ourselves the cable was not plugged in to the TV .Also very noisy cars gunfire police and homeless people everywhere.

It was nice other than the pool being closed upon arrival. It was the main reason we booked here.
Pros:

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was decent.

Cons:

No darkening room curtains. We booked this hotel specifically for the pool..and it was closed upon arrival. We were never alerted about it being closed before arriving.

near the elevator the staff was very nice and accommodating. They had a wonderful breakfast every morning both hot and cold choices. Also the rooms were clean and inviting.

Cons:

the room wasn't ready at scheduled time even though we were a late check in. handicapped room wasn't available and we ended up on the 3rd floor with a person unable to do stairs granted they had an elevator but what if a fire occured???

Good stay. Just wish the noise was better and that the pool was open.

There were loud noises outside my hotel room on the second floor at 4am. The pool was closed :(

Cons:

Housekeeping needs improvement. You have to request it. When we requested it, they didn't make the beds. We asked about it so they came the next day but requested we leave the room before they would clean it at 9am, which is ridiculous! To be kicked out of the room to be cleaned when they should have done their job right the day before.

The pool was permanently closed yet was still advertised on the website when we booked which was disappointing! It was a selling point so I would have chosen a different hotel had I known.

The front desk staff was mostly not there. We stayed 4 days and came and went multiple times. And saw a person at the desk maybe 2 times the entire time we were there. The night we checked in the person had what appeared to be her boyfriend hanging out leaning on the counter. He stepped aside so we could check in and the went back to laying on the counter when we were done. Not a very professional atmosphere or a good impression. One other time we were leaving and the phone was ringing and ringing but there was no staff to be seen.

The next time I return to Butler I will stay somewhere else.

Quiet and mostly clean - comfy if you bring your own bed.
Pros:

Pretty quiet, spacious rooms, mostly clean.

Cons:

The bathroom (shower specifically) was kinda icky. It sure it was cleaned.. ever..
and the beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever tried to sleep on in my life.
