Great, quiet location in a cute boutique hotel. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Close to public transport making it easy to get to/from Oktoberfest.

Wonderful experience for a solo traveler! Beautiful, single room with a balcony to sit on. Quiet neighborhood without a lot of tourists. Convenient to walk to restaurants and Marienplatz. Exceptional stay!

Clean room, tired looking a bit

The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful, and the property itself had a lot of character. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The overall experience was great. The staff was super professional, caring and just amazing people who try to go above and beyond for their customers! The breakfast buffet was the highlight of the stay especially the supervising person Maria ! She was offering us some specialties describing how they were prepared or cooked. She also tried to give some suggestions about cultural life and points of interest. The upsetting part of the stay was horrible garage with super inconvenient entrance, exit, and lack of space and modern features ! Also no safe in the room seemed very obsolete for us

The property was great. Staff was excellent very helpful with any questions I had. It’s in a great location, very walkable to everything especially the little downtown shops. The area was very quiet and safe, which was important to me traveling solo. Would stay here again 10/10.

Old style hotel but well located and very nice staff. Minimal amenities, no air conditioning though staff provided fans and cooling pillows. Lovely outdoor breakfast patio. Walking distance to most attractions including amazing museums and park.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Beautiful rooms and quite walkable to everything.

It's a good hotel and welcoming. You get a bottle of water and a book in the room, or at least I did. No access to hot water or anything like that, so if you need a coffee or tea expect to go out. Room had strong smell of paint but was otherwise clean and great for staying.

Oh my word, where to start. First of all, I’m coming back here! These good people at this gorgeous place are just so wonderful. Helpful, friendly, kind and professional and above all so welcoming. They actually made my stay in Munich perfect when I’d been feeling a bit lost and down. Suddenly I discover this gorgeous hotel and I couldn’t believe how beautiful and magical the hotel is - it just rests your soul. It is safe, in an ideal location, so stylish, impeccably clean and just highly geared to a weary traveller. The balcony, the church bells, the sunset, the garden for coffee, the library…and how can I forget the petite book gift - such a wonderful thoughtful thing, this hotel is so cultured, stylish and gentle. I am thrilled to have discovered this wonderful hotel, I really look forward to returning. Thank you to the wonderful Hotel Splendid staff.
