This is a beautiful hotel. The valet and front desk staff are very welcoming, and they upgraded me to PH level with no extra charge. After I checked in, I rushed out of the hotel room for an event. Once I was back in the room, I realized I was not given the complimentary snacks or drinks that I was told would be in the room. On top of this, the housekeepers were loud 8am through the rest of the morning which made it hard to relax. It actually got to the point where I decided to check out early and skip breakfast altogether. A little bummed because I feel like for almost $500 a night, this shouldn’t be such a miss.

My mom and I had the most amazing experience! From the stellar room to the funny bartender, the Lancaster was wonderful! In the future, I will only stay at the Lancaster! The staff went above and beyond. The breakfast service is 10/10. If you are coming to Houston, look no further!

We are giving it a 5 because there is nothing higher, but we would absolutely give it a 10. From the moment we arrived, every single person was thoughtful, attentive, pleasant, and helpful. Our stay began with an upgraded suite in a glass of sparkling wine. The suite was beautiful and impeccable. The food is amazing and I cannot say enough wonderful things. The Lancaster is a beautiful vintage hotel with old-school hospitality and we would return in a heartbeat. Thank you to everyone there!

All the staff gave exceptional service.

Room was great and breakfast was great.

Rooms were as described. The warm, professional greeting at check-in was nice.Being offered sparkling wine and the macarons in our room were a special touch. Complimentary warm breakfast and in-room snacks and beverages were added bonuses. Bathrobes and yes, slippers! added to a luxurious feeling. I cannot say enough about the artwork throughout the hotel. I appreciated both local artists and more well-known. Valet service was efficient and all hotel staff we encountered were polite. We attended the Art Car Parade and could easily walk to it. It’s a perfect location for theater, symphony, opera and a short drive to the Museum of Fine Arts. Highly recommend The Lancaster Hotel and would stay here in the future.

It’s clean and the staff are absolutely fantastic!!!!! Mark the maître de and Bob the bartender are fantastic and the rest of their crew Dylan was fantastic too

Great experience, the hotel is amazing and the staff treats us with care. Definitely talk to Kevin! He made my experience much better and was very kind to my whole family.

The facility was beautiful and super clean. The breakfast and in room snacks and amenities were a great treat.

The staff is the true gem of this hotel. The gentleman greeting you at the door and valet area were consistently friendly and helpful. What a great first impression. The front staff was kind, efficient, and professional. The wait staff and housekeeping staff were always friendly and helpful.

In addition to the amazing staff, the location was super convenient and walking distance to many top notch restaurants. I would HIGHLY recommend The Lancaster to anyone visiting the Houston area.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel!! The staff were exceptionally kind, sweet and welcoming throughout my visit. The breakfast selection was excellent, amazing options to choose from. Special thanks to Elizabeth she was such a sweetheart, kindly allowed me to grab a quick meal just before closing on Monday. The valet team was also fantastic—Mouhammed was particularly helpful—and Daniel in the restaurant provided great service as well. I also loved the artwork displayed throughout the hotel. I’m already looking forward to staying here again on my next trip, will definitely be booking again!!
