Frances is such a brilliant host. I arrived to tea and freshly baked scones and a lovely chat after my 3 hour drive from Loch Ness. The shared kitchen/lounge has plenty of room for guests and my room was large and spotlessly clean. I had the opportunity to chat to other guests and in the evening a short walk took me to the Village Green where the pipe band was playing. I had dinner at The Clachan, which was recommended by Frances, and I was not disappointed. Drymen is a lovely village to stopover with everything at your fingertips and a friendly welcoming community. Highly recommed a stay with Frances at Kip in the Kirk. Wish I could have stayed longer than one night.
Had a great few days stay. Frances was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area and happy to point us in the direction of walks and places to eat and drink. Thank you.
Frances runs a very comfortable and beautiful home .
Cosy and inviting .We will certainly return .
Thankyou Frances .
Properry is absolutely beautiful and beyond sparkling clean. Our host is a lovely lady who is incredibly thoughtful and a delight to meet! She recommended the local pub (The Clachan) to eat and mentioned we would need to book which we did, honestly the best meal weve ever had! Will definately be back
Frances was a delightful host. Very friendly and had lots of suggestions for places to visit. She was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. My room was the best. My bed was so comfortable and I slept like a baby. Can’t wait to return. Thank you Frances. I highly recommend Kip in the Kirk.
Excellent location ,and a great place to stay . Nothing is too much trouble for Frances !
The host was very welcoming and friendly. Fresh scones and a warm cuppa on arrival. My room was immaculate and very comfortable. A very warm, welcoming, relaxed place to stay with excellent dining venues just a few moments stroll away.
Great spot. Walking distance to pubs for good meal. Kitchen available and breakfast
Fabulous!! Home away from home. We loved our 2nd stay at Kip in the Kirk
A comfortable stay in a great village close to Loch Lomond.
lovely area and surroundings The owner clearly does an impressive job making you feel at home. I would strongly recommend
Kip in the Kirk was handy for exploring the area. Frances was attentive and friendly. The room was comfortable and very clean with plenty character. Breakfast was not extensive but was good quality and plentiful. I’ve not visited before but would definitely return.
Loved our stay at kip in the kirk, very clise to everything in drymen, like a home from home
We actually stayed in Hillview Cottage in Drymen owned by the same person Frances. A bit cold at first but once the heat came through it was adequate. Very comfortable, bright and immaculate. Frances delivered continental breakfast in the morning and later joined us for a blather.
Great host and cottage. We hope to return next year.
I was lucky enough to book here at short notice after another hotel in Glasgow cancelled on me but didnt think to tell me about it. I was made to feel very welcome throughout, slept like a log (a snoring one as it turns out!) and was very refreshed the following morning. The place was spotless and had a wonderful warm charm about it. Although I ended up here in a needs must situation I'm glad I did and would absolutely stay again.
We loved our stay! Frances is very welcoming and her converted Kirk is beautiful. We were made to feel at home immediately. Will definitely return!
Really helpful and great staff, very knowledgable about the area, perfect setting for a stop off on a drive up north. Comfy beds, good shower, and a delicious home made breakfast! Thanks!
Warm and welcoming hosts, great advice on where to travel to, nice continental breakfast with homemade marmelade and good conversation.
The mattress was a bit uncomfortable (complaining on high level) and the pub next door played loud music until late into the night, which was a bit distracting as we had a long drive before and tried sleeping early.
All in all: I can only recommend booking a room at this sweet BnB!
Clean and comfortable. Susan and Frances are very friendly and helpful. Will stay next time.
Outstanding hospitality, great breakfast. Rooms were very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable.
