Big room
The pool and spa were closed and this was the reason for us booking this hotel
Great location. Easy to access. Excellent value.
Unfortunately the car parking area isn’t secure and obviously drugged up, displaced individuals were about. Once just a few meters from my parked car under the hotel a poor man was slumped over - out of his mind - staring at me as I returned to my parked car.
It didn’t feel safe for sure and I’m glad my wife and kids weren’t with me.
When I I asked hotel staff if it is safe to park they just said “we have cameras”.
The parking area is also filthy to add to the atmosphere.
The parking is definitely a concern and drags down the property.
helpful with our ski gear storage
nothing
Staff
Nothing
Room was spacious and very modern
They have shampoo and conditionner in wall mounted bottles and conditionner bottle was empty. Its not a good situation to be in. Obviously housekeepers aee not paying attention. They should use clear bottles.
Location and cleanliness
Work was ongoing while we there and there was an overpowering smell of something like glue or nail varnish remover
Central downtown location, clean room & bathroom, friendly staff, convenient free parking
Hot tub was down for maintenance - on a lengthy ski trip, I appreciate a nice soak! Parking a bit constrained for full size pickup, as there were a lot of large vehicles this night, the lot has narrow aisles and hotel guests are restricted to the western half
We booked this hotel for our family because it had a pool. The pool was the first photo used on the listing, the first amenity listed, and the fort thing in the written description. As soon as we checked in we asked what time the pool was open until, only to be told the pool was out of service. It wasn't until we were leaving that a staff member told us they could have offered us passes to a local public pool, but at this point we were needing to go home. It really spoiled our visit just sitting around a hotel room in winter with our child, after them being excited about going somewhere we had intended to enjoy swimming.
This is a decent little independent hotel in a good downtown location. The room was nice and the breakfast room was convenient. It was economically priced as well.
Because I booked through a third party (Booking.com) they said that they couldn't provide me with a printed receipt. Which is odd and has never happened when I have booked with this platform in the past.
Rooms had lots of space and comfort.
The arcade was a little expensive, 25 cents instead of 1 dollar would be more reasonable.
Nice central location, cheap price...Morning Staff was very friendly and informative.
Breakfast was ok, not a lot of options, considering you need to pay for it. Shower pressure was very low, and the arcade games controller didn't work. The pool was also not available, which I was not told about when booking.
The hotel has a fun family atmosphere. It was original and classy. We enjoyed our overnight stay.
