Room.was clean and comfortable.
Adjoining bar and restaurant had great food.
Air con unit was very noisy and had to turn off to sleep.
We were unaware it was downtown and close to area where there are homeless people and a drug problem with related crime close by.
Not the hotel's fault, but would have liked the knowledge in advance.
Undercover car park was very smelly
Good location, friendly staff
AC continuously starts and stops which is a bit annoying during the night
Big room which was clean and tidy. Standard hotel and great for an overnight stop. Great to have a question laundry. Staff pleasant.
Bathroom a little small.
Friendly staff and good location
Nothing, but we never ate there or use the pool
We stayed here one night en route to Vancouver. Our room was clean and functional with a view over the car park. As with most chain hotels, it had little charm. We turned off the a/c and did not get time to use the pool or have breakfast. We slept well. The Noble Pig restaurant next door was good but very busy. Kamloops has a lovely park along the river with lots of wildlife. The hotel does it's job but is instantly forgettable.
Ate at Embers and the food a nd service was great.
A lot of homeless folks and drug use in the parking area. I pretty much emptied my truck out and took everything up to my room to err on the side of caution.
Close to the highway
Because the property is downtown you have to park far from the main entrance which makes unloading tricky. The hotel advertised pet friendly but charged be 46$ extra upon arrival and never told me there was an extra fee. There is also an extra fee to park! $20 per night and breakfast isn’t included. The room was very ok, I had a view of the wall and the hallways were very loud. My main complaint about this place is the value. If you want to be downtown, good places to eat nearby without being far from the highway it is good, but not ideal for pets or if you are just passing through town.
Nice clean hotel. I found it to be a good value. The cafe downstairs provides very reasonably priced breakfast options. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We wished we had been able to stay an extra night, as the facilities were great in both the deluxe room and in the hotel, with breakfast available, a pool, small gym and coin operated laundry facilities
