Really good!!
Pros:

The room was amazing, cozy beds! Staff was super friendly and helpful, we asked if it was possible to check out a little bit later prior to our bus. It was no problem.

Cons:

A lot of kids by the pool and whirlpool.

Comfortable, Wel Cared For Property
Pros:

The property is well located in the downtown core & within easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping & attractions. The room was large, well outfitted & immaculate. It was also very good value. It is evident that the property is well cared for & maintained. However, what impressed me most were the staff. I was contacted the morning of our visit, hours from us arriving, to let me know that, while I had been upgraded to a larger room, it was near the ice machine & elevator, which I had asked not to be close to. The manager advised me that one of her team had noticed this discrepancy the night before we were to arrive & she was phoning to see if we would like to continue with the upgrade or prefer to be away from the elevator & ice machine. I opted for a room away from the elevator. The room was still very large & comfortable. I was impressed by their thoughtfulness and attention to detail. The customer care started before we arrived. It is a family owned business & it is evident that they care about the guest experience. My thanks to the Thompson Hotel team. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

Pros:

Impeccably clean. We had a larger room with a comfortable couch and 2 queen beds. Kitchen had 2 fridges and an air fryer.
Price was excellent for such a large room.
We had a great pizza from take-out across the street.

Cons:

We had the scrambled eggs at breakfast and they were likely carton type so not that great. Croissant was more like an instant roll. Reasonable price, but not a super meal.

Pros:

There was a small inconvenience where the power was going to be out the next morning during our stay, and the management and staff were very helpful. They searched for another hotel to see if that would work for us and gave us other room options.

We needed to extend our stay in the morning due to my partner having an appt at the hospital, and the other hotels were not able to accommodate that, so we were given a family room so we had more space to hang out the next day.

This was all offered at the original price and was all handled professionally, with patience and a smile even while assisting other customers and answering phones.

The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We hardly even noticed the power outage the next morning.

I would definatly recommend staying here, and will stay here again if we have the chance.

Spacious room with a very comfortable bathroom. Everything you could need, was in the room. Staff were terrific and allowed me to check in early and ledge bags temporarily. Appreciate their help

Cons:

It had everything I’ve could need and exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. I liked it all

A solid value property in a central location. Let down by parking that feels unsafe and exposed.
Pros:

Great location. Easy to access. Excellent value.

Cons:

Unfortunately the car parking area isn’t secure and obviously drugged up, displaced individuals were about. Once just a few meters from my parked car under the hotel a poor man was slumped over - out of his mind - staring at me as I returned to my parked car.

It didn’t feel safe for sure and I’m glad my wife and kids weren’t with me.

When I I asked hotel staff if it is safe to park they just said “we have cameras”.

The parking area is also filthy to add to the atmosphere.

The parking is definitely a concern and drags down the property.

Nice place to stay but check the shampoo bottles before using the shower

Room was spacious and very modern

Cons:

They have shampoo and conditionner in wall mounted bottles and conditionner bottle was empty. Its not a good situation to be in. Obviously housekeepers aee not paying attention. They should use clear bottles.

Convenient central spot to stop for the night in Kamloops
Pros:

Central downtown location, clean room & bathroom, friendly staff, convenient free parking

Cons:

Hot tub was down for maintenance - on a lengthy ski trip, I appreciate a nice soak! Parking a bit constrained for full size pickup, as there were a lot of large vehicles this night, the lot has narrow aisles and hotel guests are restricted to the western half
