no water bottles in the room, no box of tissue, curtain needed attaching to rod in one place, lumpy old pillows, beds not the best, had to pay $12 to park

A refuge from the smoke
Pros:

We were returning from a trip to the Gulf Islands and came back to extreme smoke and heat. Our house was hot and stuffy because we had been away with the air conditioning turned off. The Thompson took us in at short notice. Our room, thanks to the air conditioning, was pleasantly cool and smoke-free. The staff were helpful and friendly. When we wanted to cancel a second night, we were able to do so without any difficulty.

il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans cet hôtel, c'est un excellent rapport qualité prix par rapport à ce qu'on peut voir dans des établissements soi-disant supérieurs, mais avec des équipements inférieurs et des prix beaucoup plus élevés👍

Do you like noise?
Pros:

If you like noise: the sound of metal clinging in the clothes dryers, housekeepers gathering outside your room, exit door outside your room… if you enjoy a tiny bathroom- one person at a time…if you enjoy early sun because the blackout shades partially cover the window or if you want an entry to the room that is larger than the bathroom and no mirror above desk… also no free water… too bad as staff was delightful…
