Fairfield Inn & Suites Grand Rapids Airport

The check in staff were amazing. They were friendly, kind and welcoming. We checked out with the GM (her name was Ty) and she was also very friendly. We made sure to let her know how great her staff was & how hard they worked. Breakfast was awesome & they did a great job keeping everything stocked and clean!! Great job team!!

We were not notified of the remodeling going on until we checked in. The hotel was dusty and debris on the floors. Parking lot was messy due to the construction containers and remodeling debris.
Continental breakfast was not so great. Food was cold and limited.
Front deck employee was stellar though!

Hotel is under renovation and is extrememly cluttered and dirty. TV's not working yet. Drywall dust

They were doing a complete renovation on the second floor that they put me on all the walls are being stripped carpet was being pulled up and they are using chemicals to strip everything. I ended up switching rooms to the third floor where they're worse no construction going on, but why did they put me on the second floor to begin with? It should've been closed

It's not a bad place and it's in a nice area. The hotel is going through renovations right now but that has to happen at some point

Room is nice. Bed is comfortable. The shower is amazing! The breakfast had a good variety of both hot and cold food.

Hotel was under construction. The breakfast pretty much nonexistent. No fruit everything was empty seemed to be struggling to keep up with just keeping the eggs filled. Would not recommend.

Great location to the airport and plenty of restaurants and shopping within close driving distance. Safe, clean area although the hotel was remodeling while we were there. There was construction debris around the property but not in our way of coming & going. We did not hear any construction noise from our room, only the hotel lobby. Our room & bathroom had been nicely updated and bed was comfortable.

Super comfy beds, easy check in/check out. Breakfast options were nice. Kids enjoyed the pool.

NEVER GOT IT

This hotel was just ok. Small, basic. Some staff was nice and some were rude. One of the bedspreads in our room was dirty. They are working on remodeling the rooms. It was an inexpensive place to stay and now I know why. The best way to describe it is “stayable” but I wouldn’t choose it again.

A group of over 60 people stayed at this hotel for a summit event. The reservations had been made months before our arrival, so there's no excuse for what happened. When we arrived, there was no elevator, and we were told they had tried to fix it before our arrival but couldn't, but that it would be fixed on Monday. The hotel has three floors, and most of us were women. What an employee later told us was that the elevator had been broken for over a month, and they hadn't done anything, and that they hadn't called because the repair was expensive. They didn't want to give us a refund or anything. Finally, a small settlement was reached because we'd been there for over five days and it still hadn't been fixed. Furthermore, they didn't have a full breakfast every day. I don't recommend this place.
