They moved us to the Amway Grand Plaza due to their maintenance issue. That hotel was great
Pros:

From past visits the property is great. This time a maintenance issue prohibited us from being able to stay here

Cons:

Water wasn’t working so the hotel was closed. Happened to try to check in early, which was lucky, as they were able to book us at a nearby hotel with only a couple rooms left.

We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future!
Pros:

We loved the easy access to Van Andel Arena via the skywalk—it made getting to and from the venue incredibly convenient! The room was clean and made for a relaxing, enjoyable stay!

Cons:

There was honestly nothing we didn't like—our stay was wonderful from start to finish!

The hotel staff was polite, the location of the hotel is a good location for downtown Grand Rapids.

Great location, wonderful staff.
Pros:

Great location, right down in the heart of GR. Easily walkable to restaurants, concert venues, stadium, etc. Don't really need a car if you're only doing things in the area! Staff was also fantastic. Very helpful!

Cons:

Parking is a little bit wonky. There's an overflow lot that's kind of around the corner. Tight spaces. If you need a car, it's doable, but if i stayed again i'd try to manage without one.

Pros:

Closeness to the concert venue, bed was comfortable, parking was easy. Staff very friendly and attentive.

Cons:

The wood furniture in the room seemed very dated. You have to be standing in the shower to turn on water and get blasted with cold water until you get it to preferred temp. The shower door doesn't shut all the way, water all over the floor.
