nice motel, crappy management
Pros:

surprisingly spacious and comfortable rooms as if the motel was built in a bygone era

Cons:

the manager was exceedingly slow and first kept denying that we ever had a reservation there, and then upon check-in insisted upon a cash deposit, which on checkout he casually forgot until I reminded him. it was like he either didn't know what he was doing or had never done this job before. and the manager seemed to be the most lucid person on staff

We will definitely be back traveling from Florida to Mississippi and we would definitely be staying
Pros:

Didn't eat breakfast had to get on the road to be back to Florida early Monday morning but everything was fantastic and I will be back again thank you very much for a lovely little vacation for my family

Cons:

There is just a little noise downstairs with kids running around back and forth at probably 10:00 11:00 at night but then their parents came out and got them and everything quieted down and it was fine

Would definitely stay here again! 8/10
Pros:

Great location! Rooms were clean and free from bugs!! Just outdated but I didn’t care for any of that, as long as I was comfortable. I also like that there are chairs for residents to sit outside of their rooms for smoking or to just simply chill out and enjoy the view!

Booked Twin Star Lodge, got Star Inn. Overbooked!!!
Pros:

Location was convenient. Close to casinos and beach.

Cons:

When we booked, there were 7 rooms left according to Booking.com. When we arrived, the motel said they overbooked and sent us to Star Inn. This was very concerning and fishy, but at least there was a room for us. Upon arrival, Star Inn asked for a $20 deposit. I offered my credit card, and they said "cash only." Luckily, a travel partner had cash because I didn't. Upon arriving to the room, we found our two beds as requested, one of which was more like a bowl with the edges higher than the center of the mattress. It was very uncomfortable. The comforters, carpet, and other room dressings seemed dingy. You could tell locks had been changed out more than once in the door as there were many screw holes. The shower was awful. One second, it was warm, the next scolding hot, then freezing cold. Not consistent at all. Not sure about all rooms, but 132 needs many cosmetic repairs. The best thing about it was the lavatory countertop
