The most memorable and most lovely hotel stay! The people, the service, the accommodations, THE BREAKFAST! Honestly wish such a hotel existed in the States! 5 stars!

Lovely hotel, central location in Munich, a few minutes walk to Marienplatz and Viktualienmarkt. This means it can get quite loud when the windows are open.

Was playing tour guide to a friend, and we shared a room with two twin beds. While the room was clean, it was Tokyo-level tiny, which wasn't ideal, especially for the price.

That being said, the bathroom was the highlight of the room (weird, I know, but the bathroom was really nice! And clean!), even though the rainfall showerhead was leaking quite a bit.

Everyone we interacted with at the front desk were helpful and welcoming. I'd stay here again, but I'd think twice about sharing a room because, again, the rooms are tiny. I've given them feedback to perhaps think about removing the desk from the smaller rooms to help open up some space.

Platzl Hotel was lovely! Traditional German style. Spotless rooms and hotel. Delicious, huge breakfasts. Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location in the heart of the Old Town, walk to everything. So delighted that we stayed at the Platzl - we'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

Very nice hotel. Staff are wonderful - very nice and helpful. Location was perfect - an easy walk to everything. Bed was very comfortable. Room and bathroom were small, but what you’d expect from an older building. Would definitely stay here again!

I was in town for business, and this hotel in the heart of the old town was the perfect choice. Despite its central location, my room was pleasantly quiet, allowing me to prepare optimally for my appointments. The fast Wi-Fi and smooth check-in made my stay very efficient.

A bit late with this review. We visited for 2 nights on a trip to Germany to visit a couple of Xmas markets.
Our room was comfortable, an ok size, comfy bed and good shower.
The location was great to visit the main square and to use public transport to visit attractions such as the BMW’s museum. We had a very nice stay

Very nice hotel. Renovated but still keeping the old ambient, which gives very good impression, Excellent position within walking distance of different amenities as well as good German restaurants offering good German food.
Breakfast is ok, but not on the level of other hotels in Germany. The setup with breakfast room is not the best.
Anyway, we highly recommend this hotel and if we go to Munich again, we will go to this hotel.

Charming boutique hotel in a great area. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Nice bar for evening cocktails. The room was comfortable with well appointed amenities.

It couldn’t be more central to the main Christmas Markets and many restaurants and beer halls. 3 minute walk once you figure it out. Short Uber to the BMW museum. The staff was very helpful, it is wheel chair accessible if that is a need. The morning buffet was robust and healthy.

We were in Munich for the Christmas Markets and everything was within walking distance. The Platzl Hotel was in the perfect location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was excellent.

Fantastic hotel in a central location. From check in, to the bar and the breakfast team everybody at Platzl made sure our stay in Munich was a memorable one.

Very good hotel with great location to the Marienplatz but in my opinion could improve a bit.

Made two requests at the front desk and was told it would be taken care - one was a request for an additional blanket. I had to request both multiple times.

The wifi could be improved - the connection is really slow - to download 5 emails took sometimes over 10 minutes. Finally, I would have appreciated a coffee machine in the room. The coffee bags they offer are simply terrible.

For the amount it costs I expected a little more.

Beautiful hotel. Near the centre and close to the centre, about 4 mins walk to the Central Square, Marienplatz. They have a list and details of all the Christmas Markets they give you which was very helpful. The room was beautiful. sooo
much space. everything worked well and the staff were super helpful and friendly and like most Germans spoke perfect English.

stayed 4 nights. the reception staff were so very helpful, friendly, made sure you were good with everything. very comfortable beds, clean room, great shower. only drawback is not enough outlets in the rooms for devices/charging stations etc. had to choose to charge my phone or make coffee. the breakfast was amazing. so many wonderful choices and hot foods. the hotel is very nicely appointed, in a great location near many many restaurants, shops, and main tourist attractions.

Very comfortable and welcoming hotel. Location close to Marienplatz and the Hofbrahaus. Excellent breakfast. Enjoyed the lounge and bar.

Sound travels through the hallways, from adjacent rooms, and rooms above. Bathroom is dusty. Sauna not working.

glad we stayed, but had to go to there haiiway for our WIFI reception - a problem maybe only in our room at the end of the hallway. In two days, no one fixed it.
