Pros:

Requests were quickly taken care of and we were able to leave our bags while we continued to explore before we went back to the airport. The staff was great!

Cons:

Room 301 is near an exit door so it could be loud.

Pros:

Close to everything you could want in the French Quarter. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Probably can't be helped, but it's an old building that could use some serious TLC in places.

Cozy, Quaint, Creepy but I like it.
Pros:

Once again, Andrew Jackson hotel has stolen my heart. I love staying with you guys. The staff is always so nice. This time I stayed in 202, it was my first time in that room. I loved it. Balcony rooms are so great for catching the ambience of nightlight on Royal. Of course the ghosts didn’t disappoint either. lol
We will be back!

Great location, dirty surfaces that need a deep clean.
Pros:

Our hotel room overall was dirty. The location is excellent which helps explain the cost, but for the price, a cleaner hotel room would have been a better experience.

Outstanding stay/Leroy is fantastic ❤️🙏❤️
Pros:

This is our 5th visit to NOLA and we finally feel like we found a "home" here at AJH. In addition to the beautiful overall charm of this amazing and historic hotel, the staff absolutely made our stay. Leroy is one of the greatest people we met here in NOLA. In an age where good service sometimes falls through the cracks, Leroy went above and beyond for us. He was Incredibly friendly and professional, he helped us out immensely because our luggage was lost by the airline. Leroy is a wonderful person who helped us make up our minds that we never want to go anywhere else when we stay in NOLA.
The room we had was beautiful, clean and charming. The bed was very comfortable, this is always a big thing for me being that I have back and joint issues but these beds are some of the most comfortable of any stay in NOLA. Highly highly recommend the AJH and with Leroy on the job you're in great hands 🙏

Best Hotel In The French Quarter
Pros:

This is by far the best place to stay in New Orleans. Leroy is the manager and he’s amazing, a very welcoming host who’s a pleasure to speak with, he went above and beyond to make our stay truly special. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and the courtyard is lovely. This is the only place we’ll stay at moving forward. It’s also the perfect location, one street over from bourbon and just a couple of blocks’ walk to The Jackson Square. Thank you so much for this unforgettable stay, I’d highly recommend!

Cramped and Saw a Large Roach in the Bathroom
Pros:

My brother booked this place for us for 4 nights. It was inexpensive but I did not like it. I will give you the good and the bad.
The Good - nice location on Royal St in the French Quarter. It has a nice courtyard with tables and a fountain. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. While rooms do not have coffee makers, they have coffee and water in the lobby. The coffee service starts at 6 AM.
The Bad - I saw a large roach on our bathroom floor around 1:00 AM. The room is small and crowded. Maid service was spotty. If you are still in your room at 10:30 or 11:00 AM they probably will skip your room even if you are out for most of the day. As a senior citizen I found the step up to the hotel entrance and the room difficult to navigate. Our bath tub was scary, with nothing to hold onto to at all.
Sorry but I can't recommend this hotel. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
