Cons:

Die Aussicht aus dem Fenster ist nicht so toll gewesen und vom gym sollte man nicht zu viel erwarten. Die Laufbänder waren defekt, deswegen lieber draußen eine Runde am Fluss drehen 😉

I’d like a refund but it’s not enough to undo a stay ruined by filth

The condition and cleanliness was horrendous. Thankfully, this site only allows 4 photos to be uploaded - I have so many from our one-night stay that it’s embarassing.

There was grout left plastered across a number of the bathroom tiles - when I first walked in I thought we had been assigned a room under repair by mistake - no, it’s just a sloppy DIY job. The shower curtain was filthy. One of the shower tiles is cracked in multiple places. There were pubes on the toilet seat. The bathroom sink wasn’t clean. For some reason a box of tissues was left on the rail in the shower and I didn’t realise until after my shower, meaning I had to retrieve a now useless tissue box from the shower. There was a carton of milk in the fridge that had been there so long that the stench infiltrated the room even after the fridge door was closed.

I chose the bigger room and my friends went for the smaller cheaper one. I’m so glad we upgraded. The rooms are beautiful and historic. It’s had a really gorgeous old school feeling rather than your standard large boring American chains that are modern but very predictable

Incredibly thoughtful and accomodating

They were able to accommodate us at 11:00pm on forumula 1 weekend due our original hotel being filthy. the night receptionist was amazing and helped us out with Kate night bar recommendations
