Basic but great location.

Shower had mould and hand basin had mould around plug hole.
I felt really dirty whilst showering

Pros:

The bed was excellent. The building is beautiful. The breakfast buffet is great and the staff are friendly.

Cons:

One elevator stopped working over the weekend when they had several functions on. The line up for the working one got a bit hectic. We weren't in a hurry most of the time though.

Great stay in a great location for the Arts Centre.
Pros:

Lovely old style room and comfortable bed. Ms Ava bar was also great.

Cons:

Maybe an upgrade to TV's remotes etc. A few things a little old.

Lovely old building. Great location. Comfy bed and pillows.
Reception staff friendly. Good breakfast buffet.

Cons:

Only one elevator working at the time with a hotel full. No fault of theirs, but a little frustrating.
We had a meal at Ms Ava. We had a concert to attend and thought it would be ideal and quick. Our order of two meals took 45 mins to arrive. The Chicken Cotolette was overcooked and Ceaser Salad had barely any dressing on it, which was disappointing.

Excellent value for money, location and amenities.
Pros:

I stay at this property regularly. It’s comfortable and has everything you need at it or very close by. It’s excellent value for money given its amenities and location. It’s my go to for business travel. The staff are always friendly and accomodating.

Unfortunate night to stay
Pros:

The hotel and staff were lovely. Room good as described. Know it's an old hotel, but I like the character Stayed here before and always been happy.

Cons:

Would have appreciated to be advised of underground tunnel drilling that night (I was on the 7th floor, and it was ridiculously loud!). Got to sleep after 6 am when it stopped.
