Had a good time and great visit with the management. The nostalgic character of the building was a nice touch.
Pros:

Close to the Professional Centre in the Midtown Mall. The staff was accommodating and the pub “Winston’s” had great service and food.

Cons:

We had a small problem with the plumbing in the bathtub, and resolved it on our own eventually.

Great stay overall.
Pros:

Outdoor patio was a bonus. As was the pub! Great decor throughout the building. Loved the location, great for people watching. Would definitely come stay again.

Cons:

Little noisy late at night outside the pub. The security system was acting up.

Pros:

Loved the patio on the roof of the 1st floor!

Cons:

The pillows were too lumpy and large for my liking. I having the larger pillow and a smaller softer pillow for sleeping.

Nice hotel, would stay again.
Pros:

The hotel had lots of nice woodwork and character. Appreciated the secure parking that was available. Large room with a nicely remodelled bathroom.

We enjoyed time at Winston's and also the character of old downtown. Very pleasant stay.
Pros:

Staff support was excellent, courteous and good humoured folk. I loved the character of the building. My tall husband found the bathroom facilities a bit cramped, but understandable given the age of the building.

Cons:

Room and bathroom wasn't spacious but we didn't expect that it would be.

Location was excellent and staff were great
Room with 2 queens was surprisingly spacious

Cons:

Room was above the hotel bar with outside speakers. No good trying to sleep before midnight
Shower was AWFUL, not acceptable in this day and age
Wifi was poor and intermittent
Breakfast was terrible. Only a few sweet things so no good for any dietary issues. There was an excellent Cafe next door, Living Sky that did great breakfasts

Pros:

Grand old hotel (ca. 1909). Old school elegance. The pub 'Winstons' is excellent, good beer, the hotel gas a brewery in the basement, great staff, and a great menu.
The room was clean. The bed comfortable. The location is right downtown.
