Le Mirval

Si tratta di un albergo semplice a gestione familiare all'entrata del villaggio in posizione tranquilla e pittoresca, vicino alla stazione e alla fermata dell'autobus.La struttura è rinnovata e ben tenuta, con giardino e veranda lungo il fiume molto gradevoli, oltre che disponibilità di parcheggio.
Le camere sono semplici ma molto pulite e godono di una bella vista. Il bagno, seppur piccolo, è stato rinnovato.
Il proprietario e il giovane cameriere sono gentilissimi, meno calorosa e sorridente la proprietaria ma comunque professionale.
Molto buona anche la cucina: il ristorante propone piatti locali o di impronta francese o italiana, ho trovato tutto buono e ben presentato.
Nel complesso, sicuramente la migliore sistemazione disponibile a La Brigue. Da non perdere la visita a Notre Dame des Fontaines (a 4 km.) e, avendo tempo, escursioni in montagna su cui il proprietario può dare informazioni dettagliate. Efficiente anche l'ufficio turistico del villaggio.

Ambiente famigliare e ospitale, cucina di buona qualità.

Agréable surprise car les hôtels de l'arrière pays sont parfois vétustes. hôtel charmant très bien tenu. Décoration actuelle, salle de bain de bonne proportion. Literie un peu dure mais chacun ses habitudes. Peu d’Isolation pour le bruit couloir mais clientèle calme. Petit déjeuner à sa faim. Vraiment un petit séjour à la brigue à s’offrir sans se ruiner.

Joli hotel et environnement tres calme. Le village est tres beau avec tout ce qu'il faut. Je recommande.

just an FYI The towels were definitely worn out, was told It was the end of the season - however this would not stop me returning with my own towels next time :-)

2° séjour dans cet établissement, toujours aussi agréable, par sa situation bucolique, par sa déco, sa salle à manger et son petit déjeuner, dans un village paisible et facile d'accés.

I came away for the weekend from Monaco to have some peace and quiet and to enjoy the fresh air.
La Brigue was perfect and as i drover over the beautiful bridge to the hotel I was instantly relaxed.
Check in was the easiest ever, I just gave my name and he gave me the keys.
Room 14 overlooks the stream at the front of the hotel but if you sleep with your window open at night then the smoke from those that do, comes up into the room.
No tea or coffee facilities in the room and the restaurant serves dinner quite early but a short 5 min walk into the village provides you with a couple of dining options. The hiking is FANTASTIC and the tourist office gives you plenty of information on where to go. The hotel is not luxurious by any means but clean, quiet and the sound of the stream gives you a great night's sleep
