Nothing worked the pool, no hot tub, the elevator was so small and smelled bad, the room was so stuffy you couldn't breathe, and the work out room everything was broken except one ski machine and the ice machine didn't work.
Location
Construction woke me up before I was ready to get up
I didn't eat the breakfast. I needed to get some fresh water (not flavored) on my way out and was told I had to buy bottled water and that there were no drinking fountains to refill my water bottle.
I was told after signing in that I was on the second floor and that the elevator wasn't working. I had to haul my luggage etc up the stairs with an injured hip. The carpeting was old and ratty and I didn't feel comfortable being barefoot on it. There was a tiny red spot on the upper left corner of the bed sheet, which made me uncomfortable, wondering if there had been, or WERE bed bugs. This along with the loud highway traffic all night long made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. I had reserved two consecutive nights and only stayed the first one, without being reimbursed for the unused night.
How the pool was closed wish I would have known before booking it
Breakfast was excellent, staff was pleasant, room was good.
Toilet to low
Nice size room, friendly staff
Noisy especially do to ongoing construction
A refrigerator that works
This is the most run down Hampton I have ever stayed in. Upon leaving I told ythe desk clerk how run down it as and she replied all the rooms are. Claims previous owner let place go and they are going to update. In the meantime they should be ashamed to rent out these rooms as if they looked like the pictures on the website. I sent email requesting a call from owner and never heard back. Stay Away!
The waffles
The elevator was broke and you could tell it’s been awhile and still not fixed, the pool was shut down for remolding and Sharon could tell no one was working on it. The stairs which you had to have were very dirty like never ever cleaned
