Overall I would rate this place a 3 star.
Pros:

Breakfast was good but a pretty crowded space.

Cons:

Disappointed both the pool and workout room was down. There were a few minor items that need attention.

Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

The rooms are very dirty. There is no microwave , there is no refrigerator the tub was nasty the toilet seat was broken. The elevator barely opened. The pool wasn't filled and when I got there, they told me I didn't have a reservation when I did I had packages sent there which I did get it was a disaster. There was no Creamer for the coffee and the breakfast was not that great.

It was very stressful!!!!
Pros:

The breakfast was fair.

Cons:

They could have eggs instead of just egg whites. And when we got there to eat the food was quite emptied out. An hour and a half left till breakfast ended.
We checked in threw our belongings in, and left for a funeral, when we returned we couldn’t get in, the battery died. My husbands medicine for diabetes was inside, we went to go eat dinner everything was closed by then. We did not get in our room until 10:40pm.

A Hotel With Two Stories To Tell
Pros:

Lifetime Diamond member here.... roughly 150 to 170 nights per year in hotels...
I have experience with MANY Hamptons.
This is a hotel of two very different tales. Mostly, the other reviews below are true.
First, as of early August '26, it is obvious this hotel was recently renovated and that is great. This renovation clearly included the lobby, the hallways... and then this is where it gets odd... "part" of the room itself? New carpet, partial new furniture perhaps, etc. The parts renovated are nice.
Second, what is odd and creates two tales is that the bathrooms were definitely not renovated and are very dated and concerning. Chipped walls, bathtub with stains, certainly below the standard of most (not all) Hamptons.
In addition, as noted by others, there are things that are concerning. For instance, our toilet made a very odd, loud screeching sound on each flush. It worked fine, but the noise is something i have never heard from a toilet. There was no soap for showering (which always draws a question of then what else was missed in the cleaning process). The room door would not close on its own without force. The bathroom door was out of alignment and it takes force to get it to close. There is no wall control for the AC/Heating. The pool was nearly empty. There was no parking when we arrived.
And.... so on....
It is just an odd hotel with some renovations (good) and then very concerning / odd issues throughout. Perhaps they are not done yet? They need to be not done yet, there is more to address.
That said, I believe her name was Shauna at the front desk, tried really hard (joyfully) to address a couple of the issues. That was appreciated.
Lower end Hampton for sure.... not the worst... but not necessarily average either.

Perfect place to spend the weekend with my grandkids, close to the wedding we attended.
Pros:

The breakfast was amazing! So many options, everything was fresh and delicious, absolutely exceeded my expectations for a free breakfast! The staff was very pleasant and attentive and worked very hard to ensure guests were well taken care of.

Cons:

We had to ask for linens at the front desk for the sofa bed rather than them already being in the room , and the fitted sheet was the wrong size. We made it work, but it was inconvenient. I've worked in hotel housekeeping in the past and was surprised that the linens weren't already in the room.

It was memorable and not in a good way .
Pros:

Breakfast area was clean and good. Room was clean and comfortable . Dog run was supported with bags and it was clean.

Cons:

Desk personnel at check in was busy on the phone dealing with a long exchange. At checkout a cleaning staff had to look for the desk clerk.
The doors are heavily painted and required SEVERAL strong attempts to open our room door and the most terrifying was in the morning when we couldn’t exit our room. (And we are not handicapped or lacking strength) stairway doors were also stuck to the point of being unusable. The sign at the entrance said it was under renovations. We saw no evidence of that .
The overly painted doors are a hazard. Booking.com gave no warning of this condition. Won’t use Booking.com again

Potential Structural issues?
Pros:

It’s clear this hotel was recently repainted and recarpeted. It looks good inside and out

However, the sheets don’t fit properly and are oddly a cream color not white. Typical furniture for a Hampton.. bath tub is chipped.

More concerning, we noticed a drawer open on the tv cabinet when we walked into our room….i closed it and it reopened. We realized the entire floor on that side of the room is seriously sloping. Like 10 degrees. I reported it to the front desk who said “someone woukd have noticed when they re-carpeted”. Sorry, that’s not the right answer. Carpet guys might notice but it’s not their job to fix structural failures….this is going to be on the news if it collapses. I really would have preferred an answer like “yes, we are aware of the dip, it’s been thoroughly inspected and we have underpinned the foundation”. The drawer remaining open could really hurt someone too, by hitting it as they walk by.

I’m a little afraid to stay here as it could be they simply carpeted and patched a serious structural problem with the floor, and staff doesn’t seem to care.

We are booked for two nights. I don’t want to lose money but this is a bit concerning

Disgusting, low quality, bad food, fire alarm chirping
Pros:

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever been at in my life.
The shower doesn’t drain, the tv doesn’t work, there’s a low battery fire alarm chirping all night, the carpet by the ice machine was soaking wet, the breakfast was powder eggs and powder gravy, it was legitimately the worst hotel I’ve ever seen in my life. Do NOT spend a dime to come here

Bumpy and Rude
Pros:

I did not like anything about this location. I requested a king bed and the rude girl at the front told me I had to have a double. I asked for extra pillows these were the fattest pillows ever. There was a spring in the mattress that kept poking up so I had to sleep on the edge for 2 days.

Cons:

There was nothing good about the stay. This is a Hilton?

Horrible hotel
Cons:

We got kicked out because I was upset they didn't have our two rooms we paid for. They wouldn't talk to booking.com even though they were calling them while I was on my phone with booking.com. I said to answer the freaking phone and the supervisor on speaker phone told them to kick us out and cancel our reservation and to call the cops if we didn't leave. They claimed they couldn't see the amount sent to them by booking.com for the room charges. They claimed I needed two reservations for two rooms. I want a refund for the room we never used.

Improved after remodel
Pros:

Don’t be scared by the old reviews. This hotel has nearly completed their remodel. We stayed in a king study room and it was actually pretty nice for this class of hotel. The rooms feel modern with occasional dated bits, but overall it now lands on the higher end of what I expect out of a Hampton Inn. The hot breakfast was a little monotonous, but still good. The staff were friendly. Location is convenient to the highway, but watch out if heading east on 94 because the ramp is hidden behind trees and sneaks up on you. There is a little road noise, but it wasn’t enough to bother us. There are decent food options nearby and I recommend trying Torti Taco just up the block.
