The location was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful,the hotel was warm, lovely and cosy.
Comfortable bed, pleasant bar area. Good breakfast. There was no restaurant but staff were happy to recommend and direct to suitable eating spots locally. Very central location - short walk to castle/cathedral/pubs/restaurants etc.
Curtains were marked and did not block out light from floodlights on front of hotel - needed replacing.
Only stayed overnight to go on to the hospital. No meals required.

The room was clean and comfortable and well equipped. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Very good location for the town and railway station.
The bathroom could do with an upgrade but it was perfectly adequate. We had trouble getting to the carpark but I think this was more down to the current building work taking place.
