Our stay, overall, was very pleasant. The hotel is in a busy area, but was not too noisy.
Pros:

The bedroom was nicely finished with a comfortable bed and nice bright windows.

Cons:

The bathroom had not been refurbished and was quite dated looking. I did not like the fact that they had no mixer taps and the toilet suite looked like something from the eighties. The towels were new, large and very white and the toiletries were fine.

Location is perfect staff go out of their way to look after you

Cons:

No complains about the hot itself
But wetherspoons William Rufus were playing extremely loud music until 2am right behind our bedrooms. It was like being in an Ibiza night club. I thought wetherspooms didn't allow music

Convenient Hotel in Carlisle
Pros:

It’s next to the train station so ideal for breaking long journeys and also in town close to bars, restaurants and local places to visit.

Cons:

Only has a bar with snacks, no food available.

Just one night, but will stay again in the future.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed and great pillows. Very good breakfast buffet with cold and cooked options.

Cons:

En suite a little dated, though clean and functional so cannot complain.

Some parts need improvement
Pros:

The location.

Cons:

The bathroom/s partivularly in room 325 needs upgrading. The carpets on the corridors are not as fresh as the ones on the ground floor. The corridors would look pleasant if they put quality carpets.
