Macleay Hotel

Staff were wonderful and kind. Room was clean and had an amazing view of the habour. Check in and out was smooth and location was very nice.

This is a great boutique hotel, feels like a resident - the view to Rushcutter and Harbour Bridge are stunning - could see my sailboat from the window !

The location was great, 5min walking to a train station.
The property is in central location and can get noisy.

Our room was clean but we have an inconvenient situation with the shower. When you take a shower the water goes out of the shower area.

Nice hotel in a convenient area. More 3* in appearance, but has everything you need in a room for 1 night

The staff specially Ramon was very helpful. He gave suggestions on where to go and how to get there. We explored the city using their public transportation as per his recommendations.

Loved the view and parking.
Only issue was me and my partner use C pap machines and had to unplug the beside lamps to be able to use them.
A power board or extra power points behind the bed would be an advantage.

Great staff front desk. I booked a regular room. I am one leg amputee. Staff helped with accessible setup. Provided shower chair. I had my own suction grab bars. I think it worked for me because I had family members helping.
Generally I suggest getting an accessible room.

I liked the hotel

I didn't really like the room. There was no heating, no lock on door and no safe. The view was great but for the price I just didn't really like it. It was also very noisy all night with banging from the lift or the tumble tryer behind my room. Wouldn't stay again.

A great location in Potts Point. Hotel and room were clean, bed was comfy and good value for money

For a budget choice the Macleay Hotel ticked all our needs. Clean, comfortable and central to our needs while visiting Sydney. Parking made easy.
Front desk upgraded us to a better room. Not expensive but what a view across to the harbour bridge. I imagined what New Year’s Eve would be like from that vantage point.
An experience that we’d repeat.

Great place to stay. There were food places nearby that were great.

Breakfast price's, so went elsewhere for breakfast. Internet and warmth in room was adequate. Location is 30 minutes walk from city. Quiet streets, plenty of shop's nearby. Pool was small, but no mention of it,nor rooftop grill. Maybe not operating during winters.

Room was next to lift, could hear lift operating through the night. Would request another room next time.
