Exceptional
Everything was fantastic!
Everything. I travel a lot and don't often leave reviews but this hotel has gone beyond expectation and set the bar for all future trips. It's like being welcomed home but into a beautiful creative home that inspires your mind heart and soul. In the heart of theatre area, river walk and close to market, shops. Fabulous bar and restaurant. Service from staff amazing. Rooms have record player and a ukele to learn to play with easy to follow instructions.
Nothing
It was beautiful and took my breath away and it was inviting and lots of interesting arts
Everything was great
The room was nice, clean and arty. The beds were fine. The view was nice, on 8th floor. The art downstairs and halls were interesting. Parking was easy below, and connected to Pabst theater building.
First room was noisy-neighbor TV very loud, TV remote was hard to control sounds, very delayed/tricky. One sink had a slow drain, iron did not work. Moved rooms, but smaller sink had another slow drain again!? Some minor mold in shower. No way to have a decent nite-lite in bathroom, existing one too dim, other lighting linked and too bright to leave on all night. No towel bars to dry wet towels, only 2 hooks - add more hooks to the back of the doors please. All somewhat easy to fix if they just paid more attention and fixed these things. Service was OK, had to ask for manager to get new room. Hotel food OK but not great - Go to Odd Duck for an amazing meal. I have been to The Art Hotel in Louisville and that was better. Location seems great until you walk streets that are all so empty. Thursday and Friday surprisingly sleepy in mid-March. Go to 1st Ward, Bayview, etc. to find folks!
I loved the property. The artwork was amazing and the staff were friendly.
I wish the restaurant on the 2nd floor opened a little earlier on Saturday. Other than that there was nothing I didn’t like.
The room was large (with two televisions) and was reasonably priced. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the train station.
A beautiful hotel but a disappointing experience this time. In the past we've had an excellent experience, but this time there were a few issues. Had problem with record player in room, but that was fixed immediately, so happy with that. But later had issues with the in-room refigerator not working, and it took all day for this to be addressed and replaced. We had to throw away perishable food. We also had to call for toilet paper which is unusual in a luxury hotel. Overall, it was fine, but not the same experience as in the past.
Love a hotel with a signature scent--that means they pay attention to the small stuff! Loved the artsy vibe--did some drawing, strummed the ukulele, and listened to the albums! SO close to everything--especially Milwaukee Rep Theatres (I went to all 3!) and Pabst. Rooms are spacious and unique--became a conversation topic--what art is in your room--at the conference. The bar is hopping! My room had a great view of City Hall--and while I heard the bell tower every hour, it was rather quiet.
We stayed at Saint Kate’s for an anniversary staycation. This is the second time we have chosen to celebrate at Saint Kate’s because it’s such a fantastic experience. There is so much to explore in our backyard and we rarely have the time to just spend a weekend doing all the fun things like the Jazz Estate, Next Act, walking down the river walk to a local brewery, etc. Be sure to enjoy a beautifully crafted cocktail in the lobby before heading out (definitely try the Jungle Voltage) for the evening. Of course we also love exploring the art exhibits, playing records in our room, and the pink erase bar (IYKYK) - all the unique touches that make Saint Kate’s such a memorable experience. Extra thanks to the amazing staff; Saint Kate’s definitely makes special occasions even more special. We can’t wait to do it again soon!
Best hotel experience I ever had the employees were kind and helped me out when I lost stuff
I stayed at the Saint Kate for Anime Milwaukee. The front desk staff were friendly check-in and check-out were a breeze. The room was spacious and comfortable. I always love the hotel bar. it's a lively and visually impressive space, and the bartenders are creative and thoughtful. I will certainly be back.
Great room and overall trip! We were helped by Nacho, Dan, and Theo and the service was impeccable!
The perfect set up! This hotel is beautiful and has everything you need, I am looking forward to staying again for more than one night. If you are going to a show at Pabst Theater you don't even have to leave the building to do so, everything is connected! Had pizza at Proof, so good and fast! The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, 10/10. There is also a coffee shop and cafe in the building and the parking underground was perfect as well. It's an all in one great experience, worry free travel. My only issue was the bathroom in the room had no exhaust fan.
Saint Kate with Pabst Theater are a slam-dunk combination. Went for a show and Saint Kate's was convenient, but was outstanding for what they had to offer with food, art, and service. Can't wait to book again for a second time staying in Milwaukee.
