Not the quality I expected

The location is great. Close to the beach, restaurants, and stores.

Cons:

Not the quality I expected, based on its rating. The pool was cloudy/over chlorinated. The room had an overwhelmingly bad smell (that I couldn't identify). The hallways smelled like bug spray. Breakfast was ok, but once an item was out, it was not replaced/refilled. There was a loud verbal fight between staff members (in the lobby). But the room was comfortable and clean with a large shower. The hotel has been updated and looks modern. I would not stay here again.

Cons:

Air conditioning not working properly.
There was constant humidity in air & everything in our room damp. Sheets & our clothes got damp & unable to open drawers due to wetness on wood .

Several rooms were not ready, my Sister’s room had active bed bugs. Several staff members were rude
