Group outing for a NJ couple's wedding was a perfect destination stop.
Pros:

Our stay here was beyond words; they accommodated us with special parking (accessibility we no longer have). Hotel must have been just renovated--sparkly clean, bright, bar and small restaurant in the lobby. Roof top bar and lounge; like stepping back in time. Rooms spacious, clean and everything in working order.

Very nice place to stay while we visited Gettysburg battlefield
Pros:

Beautiful Renovation. Building character preserved. Breakfast was good.

Nice getaway to chill and relax without the hustle and bustle of a large city.
Pros:

Great location. Rooms are clean and spacious. The atmosphere is beautiful but also calm and quiet when needed.

Cons:

We were upset to find the rooftop bar is closed Sunday-Monday. While we would have been fine not having a drink, we still wish they’d keep the rooftop open for lounging or simply looking out at downtown. It’s heavily advertised so I feel like whether the bar is available or not, it’s an amenity that should be open throughout the day for those staying. Felt like part of the draw to stay was taken away.

Pros:

Location was perfect for downtown. We walked to everything. Roof top was beautiful and bartender was friendly.
The lady at the front desk was fabulous! I'm sorry I didn't get her name but she was an mature woman with beautiful white hair. We were there for our 40th wedding anniversary and she stopped us the next day and asked us how everything was and asked us about our trip. She even walked us outside to show us parking because I was turned around in the building when we checked in. LOL She was so sweet. What a great way to start your stay with such a great front desk person!

Cons:

The breakfast was a little disappointing. The omelette had a funky taste and the prices were a bit high for a breakfast. I probably wouldn't eat breakfast at the hotel again.

Great Stay
Pros:

We stayed at the Yorktowne Hotel for a date weekend. Check-in and check-out was very easy. Parking is in a garage across the street, but it was free for the weekend. The room was clean and accommodating. The renovated bathroom is nicely decorated. It has a very small shower, but the water pressure was good and could get very hot. We had a standard room facing Market St. The street noise was very loud at times, but not a problem for us. The best part for us was enjoying the views from the rooftop lounge.
