Pros:

We liked the location. It was very close to the Chicago botanic garden and Glencoe beach. The swimming pool was nice and clean. The facility is well maintained.

Cons:

The staff was rude and unfriendly. A lady from the reception desk charged me for my room but I already paid through booking.com. I am waiting for my refund now. The breakfast was very limited. You can pick only one item from their menu and one drink. No buffet was there.

Fee for complimentary shuttle!
Cons:

We have stayed here several times to go to concerts at Ravinia. There has always been a wonderful staff and always have a wonderful stay. The shuttle has always been free to drop off and pick up at Ravinia. But now with the new staff- they charge for the ride there and back! I think this is ridiculous and it is a very overpriced fee! $20 per person. We will be rethinking where we stay next time.

We will definitely not stay at this hotel again.
Pros:

The property is very centrally located

Cons:

At arrival we were given a room that was dirty and unmade. Apart from that, 3 other nights when we arrived back late, the room wasn’t made and there was no one at housekeeping to tend to us.

A night in our road trip
Pros:

Situation géographique. Calme. Chambre spacieuse et confortable.

Cons:

The breakfast ! 6.30 AM announced but too long to be served. We had to go without !

Front desk staff and coordination with the cleaning crew needs improvement
Pros:

Comfortable property.

Cons:

Rooms were not cleaned every day. We had to specifically request the room to be made. One bed was not made because a nightgown was left on top of the bed.

Room was very comfortable, convenient location staff was very nice.
Pros:

Staff was super nice , especially the bistro guy.
Lobby is pleasant. Pool is very nice, room and bed was very comfortable, location is good.

Cons:

The room was not super nicely cleaned up during the day. Bed was not done perfectly , coffee was forgotten to be replenished, cups were missing.
The place could benefit from a real restaurant rather than a one person operation. Although he was super nice. He had to deal by himself with a pretty busy evening at the ‘bistro’ .

I would definitely come back!
Pros:

Location great! Bistro great! Lobby sitting areas awesome! Inner courtyard just lovely! Rooms very comfy! All staff super friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Room make up was slow
