To all guests visiting between February 03 and May 01, 2023; The Hotel Roanoke will be removing 1 of our 3 Lobby elevators from service to perform a beautiful renovation. All guestrooms can be accessed by utilizing the two remaining elevators, except for the Governor’s Suite, which will require exiting on the 6th floor and taking the staircase to the 7th floor. A great location for visiting Roanoke.
Pros:

Nicely decorated room. We also had a view of the star too which was lovely.

Cons:

No water in our room. Considering we were on a road trip & stayed in at least 8 different hotels this was the only hotel that did not provide water.
Also the receptionist that checked us in was not at all welcoming. She didn’t make eye contact, didn’t smile. Unfortunately I did not catch her name. We checked in around 5pm on the day of our stay.

Elegant surroundings with accommodating staff.
Pros:

Everything was exceptional beginning with greetings upon arrival including help with luggage, valet parking, and check-in. We had driven a long way and appreciated the cherry help. Breakfast was wonderful with good service. Scrambled eggs were delicious and service wonderful. The room was beautiful! We loved staying here.
