Very comfortable bed, spacious room
Everything looks well maintained. Excellent gym.
I prefer flat pillows, that’s the only think I didn’t like.
I really enjoyed my stay. Staff were super friendly, bed was very comfortable, room was clean, lobby and hallways were clean and modern.
Staff were helpful and it was a lovely touch leaving a handwritten birthday card and sweets plate to celebrate my daughter’s birthday.

Staff were really kind and helpful, breakfast was great, having a sauna is also great.
The pool area could’ve been nicer and it was very busy with not much seating.
A very good hotel, location was convenient for the city centre. Room and bed were comfortable, with a reasonable amount of space and felt secure at all times.
The staff were welcoming, cheerful and always helpful. The breakfast buffet had an excellent range of options, including fruits, pastries, cold meats & cheeses, hot foods and various special egg options, cooked fresh to order. All provided within a bright and spacious restaurant.
Unfortunately there were a couple of things that would have improved our stay and my rating of the hotel.
Firstly the bedroom lacked storage space for personal clothing and effects. We stayed for 6 nights, the start of a 7 week tour to Australia from the UK. We were there primarily for a wedding which was to take place 10 days after our arrival, on Great Keppel Island. As a consequence my wife and I had two large suitcases of clothes, including our wedding attire, which had to remain in our cases, on the floor. It would have been useful to have been able to hang out the effects of flying before moving on.
My second issue concerns the restaurant, I have said above how bright and airy it was at breakfast, unfortunately the same did not apply in the evenings. It was so dimly illuminated, you had difficulty determining whether or not it was open. As to reading the menu, without the aid of our mobile phone torch it was almost impossible. One of the joys, of a good meal (and the food was good, although the choices could have been a little broader) is to see the presentation on the plate, and the sense of anticipation it generates.
Finally we were very disappointed with the room service options. We had arrived later in the evening and the restaurant had stopped serving, requiring us to resort to room service. The options were so limited we ended up with literally crisps and a chocolate bar at a cost that seamed unduly expensive.
I stayed in a king room and it was super-clean and comfy! The sofa was really comfy to chill on and watch tv too!
Loved it all
The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We arrived completely exhausted after a red-eye flight, but they kindly allowed us to check in early at 11:00 AM as soon as our room was ready. We truly appreciated their thoughtful service!
There is an uphill walk from Brisbane’s main attractions back to the hotel, which can feel a bit tiring after a full day of sightseeing.
Good hotel. Stay here but never use booking.com. I booked and paid, they cancelled and refunded. I booked again on a rival website and paid. Booking.com cancelled the cancellation and booked me another room. I now have 2 rooms. Booking. Com won't talk to me. Never use them but do stay at the Amora, it's a nice hotel.
