Had a lovely experience with all the hotel staff, they were kind, genuine people who truly cared about making my stay enjoyable. The food at the restaurant was great as well.
A special thanks to Ahmed, Francesca and Marc for their kindness and attention throughout my stay. You really made my days here and made me feel at home.
I don’t need to mention the usual things about the room being clean and comfortable, because what truly made the difference was the people.
Wishing you all the best.
The food is amazing, great variety, the team is the best, very welcoming and smiling all the time. Quick service. Nadia and Aija were amazing and super friendly. Thank you!
Good place. Nadia Adele very kind and nice
I very much enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location is excellent, rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Francesco and Adele who were very hospitable during breakfast.
Amazing service for the breakfast, especially from Francesco and Adele.
The front desk is very friendly and provides great food recommendations
Three words: Fabulous! Magnificent! Perfecto! From the moment my husband and I entered the hotel, we were greeted by Francesca and Ahmed and our lovely valet. They were so pleasant, professional and courteous. This boutique hotel is absolutely beautiful, with an extremely comfortable bed, wonderful fitness room and outstanding breakfast. We highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Milan. A short walk to the Duomo and shopping. I wish we were able to stay longer. Until we meet again! Eileen C
We stayed at the Duo for our visit to Milan and the 2026 Milan Cortina winter Olympics. I 100% recommend this hotel , the staff were incredible, accommodating and kind. The food was outstanding , the location perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel was full, and yet there was always staff available to serve or help us. They really got it right for what was one of the busiest weeks of the year. Thank you Duo Milan !
My stay here was a good experience. That experience was down to a combination of good facilities, and a balance of good people. The people give the Duo Milan it's heart.
The hotel itself was well presented with a modern, yet warm feel upon entering. Floor access to rooms were controlled well from a security standpoint, and the guest room impeccable and perfect in size for one person on an extended stay. Great bed on top of it as well!
With great access to Metro lines, the location was great for commuting to all of Milan on work assignments, and plenty of surrounding eating options (also a friendly local shop) within the block for a bit of variety during a long stay. This stay had breakfast included and there were plenty of options on offer. Having the included option made getting in and out for work a streamlined process daily.
I arrived early for check-in and was looked after by Aldrin and Jasmine. They, along with the porters and bar staff, made my wait comfortable and provided a sense of ease. This feeling continued throughout my stay. Antoniela and Francesca helped iron out some mid stay bits that came up, with effortless ease and patience. All in all, the entire front of house experience felt easy and effortless.
My breakfast experience was the best.
I have hearing sensitivity issues, which makes restaurants and busy places with clatter and conversations challenging and when I explained this at the very beginning, it was never forgotten. Each morning, for 28 days, they made sure I had the best shielded place from jarring sounds.
The restaurant manager Paula organised a very smooth, efficient and genuinely friendly team. Everyone seemed to act as one. Everyday. Without fail. It was as if everyone was aware of my situation and did their utmost to make sure I was protected as best as possible so I could have the best possible start to my day. In the end, this bit faded into the background and It all became just about the daily morning interactions which I looked forward to.
It was also lovely to observe their thoughtfulness and spirit was for everyone. Their interactions with other guests who seemed to be there on long stays as well, showed the same level of warmth and attention, and It was great to see this reciprocated.
There are those I got to know a bit bit as we interacted frequently during my stay: Again Paula, and Aija, Maria, Adele, Karolina and Nadia - I thank you all so much for looking after me, and to Francesco, for the special Cappuccino on the morning I was having it especially tough hearing wise from the night before. You didn't know, but could see, thanks! 5 stars to this team alone ☺️
After weeks in this house, I am am looking forward to getting home, but a bit sad to say goodbye to this home away from home.
Hospitality at its warmest finest.
A long stay that was not made to feel that way, thanks to everyone!
Stayed three times in past few months and disappointed each time. As a Marriott Ambassador level I kept wanting to make it work, but it just doesn’t. The location was good, everything else was average or below average. Most disappointing was the front desk staff, not friendly, not helpful, inattentive. When I first checked in they said the room would be ready in 10 minutes, they took all my info (passport copied, credit card swiped, signature given) They said they would hold my luggage. I came back 10 mins later and was told I needed to recheck in as the person checking me in left. They asked for my passport, I explained it was in my backpack they took with my bag. I offered my license which they said wasn’t good enough. They went to get my bags and then 15 minutes later I was told they misplaced my bags. They finally realized they sent my bags to my room but wouldn’t let me go to room without my passport, which they locked in my room. Finally someone escorted me to my room and insisted they take my passport back to the front desk. The whole situation was so poorly handled. When we extended our stay one night, they would not allow us to stay in our room in spite of the hotel not being full and giving us the exact same room on another floor. When I politely asked if we can stay in the same room I was told “no” with no explanation. The rooms themselves were average, a bit dated, small bathrooms, no coffee machine, no iron or ironing board (we requested one and the one they took us was broken). The WiFi in the hotel was poor, it went offline every few minutes each of the times we were there. Lastly the hotel was very expensive and to deliver this poor product was disappointing.
This hotel is truly poorly built and maintained. Aside from the claustrophobic reception area and the chaotic and inefficient check-in process, we could not get access to our room at midnight because the computer system had been unable to reprogram our keys. It took three attempts by the night engineer to activate electricity in the room! Once we did we had to give up any wish to read in bed because the night table lights next to the beds were falling apart and could not be oriented sideways. The overall lighting of the room was completely insufficient. Lunch pasta was disappointing too.
Great hotel. Whilst on in the centre it was a short walk to the metro & a couple of stops into all the major locations. Good restaurants nearby. Good breakfast, good sized rooms, though lighting good be a bit stronger. Lovely breakfast staff in Nadia, Francesco & Verity, that welcomed us each day with a smile & nothing was a problem - even remembered our coffee order.
The hotel was very nice and in a good location near the Central Station. Our room was great and very clean. The best part was the outstanding staff at the front desk and in the restaurant. We would definitely come back!
On time. Friendly but not pushy. Attentive but always discreet. Breakfast complete and very clean. Welcoming atmosphere.
A wonderful hotel in a great location, with a warm and cosy feel. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, and the breakfast was generous and varied. Special thanks to Maria for her exceptional kindness and hospitality at the breakfast. We would absolutely stay here again.
