I would rstay there again and recommend to others.
Pros:

The hotel was comfortable, nice and had a great location near the power and light district, walkable to many restaurants, convention center and the theaters.

Gorgeous architecture

Cons:

One of the elevators got stuck shortly after we arrived. We attempted to use the stairs to go down and the stairs don’t go all the way to the floor. I asked the front desk about it and they said stairs are only for emergencies that we should just use the other two elevators.

Great old charm unique hotel in a great downtown location of Kansas City!
Pros:

Such a great “old” hotel! From the wood paneling and old elevators and even the mail slot this hotel is full of charm. Plus they hold your luggage so you don’t have to explore with it before check in. Would highly recommend

Pros:

Our office held a social hour/reception in the hotel’s fabulous P.S. Speakeasy space. From beginning to end, this was nothing short of an amazing experience! Working with Sarah on the initial reservation & menu selections couldn’t have been any smoother (our food was delicious to boot). The evening was further perfected by the excellent hospitality of Megan, Bri and Jordan behind the bar. THANK YOU!!

Fun Weekend!
Pros:

We had a great time on a cold Winter weekend! The hotel is nice and had plenty of room on the 2nd floor to read, play games, and shuffle board. Edmund at the front desk is very helpful with good customer service skills. It is a walk away from the Power and Light district. The fam had a great time with games at KC sporting bar down the road. It was close to Union Station for our gymnastics meet. Great experience, thanks.

Wonderful event booked at Speakeasy
Pros:

We held a private event for work at the Speakeasy this week and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was great for our evening. Jordan, Bri and Megan were friendly, attentive and fun. Our team had a great time and we will book again in the future.
