Good hotel near Aston Villa stadium.
Pros:

Nice clean pub/ hotel. Bedroom was really nice.
Bathroom facilities were good.
Comfortable bed
The staff were helpful, polite and acted professionally.

Cons:

Breakfast need to be improved.The breakfast was disappointing.
Coffee and tea was Luke warm.
The cooked breakfast was warm.
We paid £200+ for one night whilst friends paid£179 as they booked slightly earlier.

Amazing time at The Aston Tavern
Pros:

The room was beautiful, the staff were so lovely and hardworking. We were only booked to stay 1 night but ended up staying 2 we loved it so much. The breakfast was huge and everything was cooked so well.

All in all really good and could not fault the cleanliness, the shower was great and the bed linen some of the best

Full oldschool tavern experience close to villa park
Pros:

The room was very thematic and nicely decorated, very old school. The room was very clean and had everything to feel comfortable. Super helpful and friendly staff.

Cons:

No food options at night when I was there. Breakfast was quite basic and not particularly tasty. The door handle of the room fell off when I was about to leave.

Stylish hotel right next to Villa Park for concerts.
Pros:

Friendly staff made me welcome when my train was cancelled at Birmingham New Street and I was stranded overnight. They have obviously spent a lot of time choosing antique furniture to give the hotel a real vintage look.

Cons:

Nothing, very happy with my stay.

Great room near Villa Park
Pros:

We loved that it was so near Villa Park (went for my husband’s birthday) and the staff were all great. Clean rooms and great little car park that’s tucked away.

Cons:

So expensive for one night!

Das Hotel war wirklich gut, das Umfeld weniger
Pros:

Die Zimmer sind im British Style ausgestattet, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Alles war sauber und praktisch. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück hat gemundet. Das Pub im Hotel war cool für einen Schlummertrunk

Cons:

Der Standort war grundsätzlich ok, da wir ein Fussballspiel im Villa Park besuchen gingen. Ist ein paar Minuten vom Bahnhof und vom Stadion entfernt. Die Lage ist aber nicht ideal für die Romantik. Rund um das Hotel sind Logistikunternehmen (Verkehr und Lärm - wobei die Isolation der Fenster ok war) und das Umfeld ist ein bisschen schmutzig.

De rust

Cons:

Bed te smal en wiebelen. Waren de enigste gasten. Bar dicht, ontbijt redelijk maar niet echt vers. Foto's zien er goed uit maar blijkt vergane glorie te zijn. Kortom geen aanrader.
