The dog tore my sweater and nipped my arm when checking in, the owner didn’t seem to care, and was oddly indifferent to his appearance and the random leaks in the check in office

Disgusting place.
Pros:

Not very far from the speedway

Cons:

Even we full pay in advance the owner scam us and over charge for the stay. All the hotels in the city were packed for the Indy 500 race, so we needed to pay what he asked.
We witnessed how the owner rejected some people coming from Expedia, who did not want to extra pay. The owner simply told them there were no rooms available, even they claim that they had paid in advanced, several weeks ago.
No facilities, no kitchen, no breakfast available. Ice machines broken. The coffee machine was very dirty. The little shampoo bottle was half empty, probably form the last guest.
The whole experience was a disaster.

Pros:

Very good location seemed safe and close to racetrack and stores and restaurants. It served the purpose

Cons:

Rooms very ran down and we're not clean we went to store and bought cleaning supplies and Lysoled and bleached everything only one guy working said he didn't clean rooms but once a week. Because of Indy 500 all the hotels were expensive and booked up we were stuck there.

The staff will try to scam you if possible. Came down for the Indy 500 and had a reservation I had booked months ago. When I tried to check in, the man running the front desk told me they had cancelled my reservation because the rate for rooms had gone up since I had booked it, and that now they were all sold out. I had received no communication about this, and had not been refunded. He was also unable to provide me with any documented proof of this cancellation. A man behind us in line told us that when he had come to check in, the worker had told him that he needed to pay an extra $100 to get his room. Thankfully, I had booked with Expedia and they were able to find me a new hotel room for no extra charge. I recommend that anyone looking into booking this motel just bites the extra cost and stays somewhere nicer that will not scam you.

Gross but Close
Pros:

One word. Gross.

But relatively close to IMS if that’s what you’re in Indy for. If you do stay here, I would suggest bringing a sleeping bag to avoid making contact with bedding. And don’t plan on using the shower. Or sitting on the love seat. Or breathing too deeply.

Zero starts, stay away for your personal safety and health.
Pros:

Nothing. I hated every inch of it.
Actually decided I would rather sleep in the car and did not stay.
Staff with an attitude.
Large dog chained in front of the office; jumping and barking

Cons:

Filthy dirty. Pee all over the toilet. Hair and what looked like blood on the sink.
Dead bugs everywhere.
Nasty bedding/ mattress/ pillows.
Smelled horrible. Feared for my safety both personal and health.

It is not as bad as as most reviews.
Pros:

For all the bad reviews this place is what it is. A quick jump of to get to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. One would never stay here but for that fact. I found it clean. That is all I ask. I saw no cocked up truckers, needles, blood or bugs. I got hat I expected. I liked Johnny B. Long live Johnny B.

Pros:

The first keycard to the original room didn’t work so we were moved to another room. There, the toilet didn’t flush properly and the only available sink did not drain. There was hair all over the bathroom, there was no shampoo provided. Couldn’t wait to leave.

Pros:

I slept with one eye open - I was not comfortable with the facility at all. Filthy carpets, duct taped door seal, broken night latch, smoky thick overpowerng odor. Pubic hair on the ledge of the tub. Used a sleeping bag and slept on top of the bed I wouldn’t dare get in it.
