Fine. Was hoping for more value.
Pros:

Nice room. Small pool.

Cons:

Falling into disrepair. Roads in were very potholed. Industrial area but across busy street from a restaurant and some shopping.
Check in experience was poor. Buffet very disappointing—don’t buy a breakfast on the weekend- and leave lots of time during the week.

The breakfast was good when it was available. I did pay for the breakfast for both me and my companion up front. There were a couple of days where breakfast wasn't available for reasons beyond the hotel's control but they were very good about reimbursing me for those two breakfasts. They admitted that there was an emergency with the server so they had to do things a little bit different but I felt very taken care of when it came to them crediting my stay 🙂🙂🙂

Cons:

It was a little bit noisy because there was a hockey team staying there and also a party that was right next door to us. I was given a credit for those loud evenings because I had to make two different complaints. I was also offered a hotel room change if I wanted but chose to respectfully decline. Handled very well by the manager.

That is was convenient to our family.

Cons:

The bathroom sink was dirty when we arrived. I had to clean it. The room need a refresh. The hot breakfast that was promised when I booked my reservation was not provided. We were offered a continental breakfast instead.

Pros:

Location was great for day trips to Niagara Falls, Niagara by the Lake and toronto.

Cons:

Two days our room was not cleaned with no prior warning. First time I went to reception, the girl looked like I was interupting her doing whatever. Second day Rebecca was on reception, told me she would sort the problem out and said go back to your room and leave it with me. She brought 2 full sets of towels, body wash as the one in the shower was empty, AND vouchers for my wife and I to receive complimentary breakfasts. Rebecca, I thank you again.

I think the front desk staff are lazy really don’t care about their job the less we ask questions or bother them the happier they are. I think they need to find better stuff. It makes a great experience.
