Amazing vibe, right in the heart of old Ainsa. Walkable to everything in old town as well as down to the city itself (back up is another story). Nicely renovated rooms, albeit with a tad hard bed. Absolutely amazing service from the nicest people.
The breakfast is a little odd as they bring predetermined cold items out to you at your table. It's a little limited, but good.
We were pleasantly surprised with this small hotel in the main plaza in Ainsa. Had booked online via the hotel's website, the pictures there don't do it justice. We had a very friendly welcome from the staff - the friendly faces were a recurring theme during our stay at this hotel. From the outside, this appears to be part of one connected building forming the square of the Plaza Mayor. Inside, the hotel space was renovated to be modern while retaining a rustic touch. Arriving by car, one can drive on the pedestrian street and unload luggage, while there is plenty of parking to keep the car nearby. Note there is no elevator but the staff did assist with our luggage. Bed was very comfortable and room included a small living area all with tasteful decor. Room was well organized with an area to keep luggage separated from the main living area. Ainsa itself is a lovely little town to visit, we enjoyed amazing scenery and a somewhat scary drive on a narrow road in the canyon. Also, a great meal outside at one of the many local restaurants having majestic views. English is not spoken as widely in Ainsa including at this hotel. One might struggle a bit without a (Castilian) Spanish-speaking travel mate.
An absolute gem in the village square. Our room was stunning with a fabulous view overlooking the mountains. The staff were amazing and always so cheerful and helpful. I do not understand why this hotel in rated 2 stars as it far surpasses that in every way.
We stayed 3 nights at the hotel. Antonio greeted us and always served with a smile. The location is charming in the square. The rooms and bath were top notch. We would highly recommend the stay for the town and area excursions. It included a wonderful full breakfast.
We are utterly charmed by this quaint hotel
and the welcoming vibe. It doesn’t get much better than this!! It’s not exactly high end, but has endless charm, is spacious, comfortable and very clean. The rustic aesthetic from centuries ago is unique. We’re thrilled to have discovered this little gem in the heart of the beautiful Ainsa town square.
Staff and cooks are most patient and accommodating to our gluten free needs.
My wife and I stayed here on our way down through Spain without have booked. We were offered a walk in rate which matched what was being quoted on various booking sites. Our comfortable room overlooked the main square. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed a lovely fresh breakfast before leaving the following day.
We stayed in the Fortun 1 room, and it was one of the most impressive hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Very spacious, with refined decoration touches including original artwork, and with a fantastic bed, it felt like it belonged in a 5 star, and was spotlessly clean. Unlike most hotel photos, the room photos on their website do not exaggerate at all the size and comfort of the room. In addition the hotel has whisper quiet central air conditioning - important as Ainsa can get hot. The staff was wonderful, always cheerful and helpful desipite the difficulty of of working under COVID rules. Amazing value for money.
Rarely do the photos match the actual hotel room. Not the case with the room we had at the Siete Reyes in Ainsa. The room we had was clearly designed and built by professional interior designers and they may have actually stayed in the room for a night as everything was available and they worked flawlessly. Spic and span, both the room and bathroom were absolutely splendid. The eclectic mix of contemporary and historic features is a triumph/ And the owner an anglophone linguist too. Highly recommended.
We recently spent ten nights travelling by car on a French/Spanish road trip, staying in a variety of hotels, B&B’s etc. Ainsa was without doubt, one of our favourite places that we visited and the Los Siete Reyes was the jewel in the crown. It was perfect in every way, from the moment we arrived at this stunning location, to the moment we sadly had to leave.
The staff were lovely, including the gentleman who greeted us on arrival and the two ladies who helped us when we departed. Nothing was too much trouble and we had good fun trying to speak Span-glish with them! We loved the fact that the grandfather of one of the ladies had grown up in the building as it was originally his family home.
The room, which was actually a suite, was just breathtaking - the decor was incredibly tasteful and beautifully appointed. It was spotlessly clean and had everything that you could possibly need. The views from the room were equally stunning - we literally had a birds eye view of the square, which was a delight.
Thoroughly recommend a trip to Ainsa, if you are in the area. We also thoroughly recommend this hotel - it really was sublime and surpassed all our expectations. We were sorry it was only a stopover, but what wonderful memories of a perfect night. Thank you X
This was a last minute booking on the day. The hotel surpassed our expectations. We received a really warm welcome on arrival and were provided with lots of information about the town. The room was huge, comfortable and really nicely furnished with a great view of the Plaza Mayor. Breakfast in the morning provided a great opportunity to enjoy the square while it was empty. The food was tasty and plentiful and the staff remembered one of us was pescatarian and offered a fish alternative without prompting. The stay was also great value for money.
