I enjoyed my time at the Grand Canyon, but I would not stay here again

Upon my arrival after we checked in late in the day, one of the rooms have not been cleaned and was filthy. The next day I came back to the room in the evening and my key would not work. I was told that my booking was only for one day. It was an error of mine because I did make an adjustment from three days to two days. No one ever called me and asked me about the reservation or gave me the option to leave. I was just charged another day. I was fine with that, but I would’ve expected a call to let me know what was going on. In addition continental breakfast was a disappointment.

The king size room was small and I didn’t care for the set up. The way the bed was positioned in the room, meant my head was less than 10 feet from the entry door. It was weird.

Pros:

The breakfast area was large and had two separate counters with items on them that helped shorten waited times. Great beds. For the price it's one of the best hotels I've stayed in this year.

Cons:

The short toilets I'm 6'2" 73 yo and without a grab handle it's a long way up :)

Close to the Rim. Easy check in and check out. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful and kind

Great location but the hotel left a lot to be desired
Pros:

The breakfast staff was wonderful especially the friendly woman. The indoor pool was well maintained. The location was perfect for our visit to the Grand Canyon.

Cons:

The continental breakfast was rather mediocre. There wasn’t much variety and had no alternatives for someone who is dairy free. The house cleaning left a lot to be desired. We asked for housecleaning every day of our stay and noticed that the room was not properly maintained. The sheets were reused and not changed. New wash clothes were not put out. The floor wasn’t vacuumed well. The toilet paper was not replaced. The shower was clearly not cleaned.

Das Frühstück war toll

Cons:

Die Zimmer Teppiche könnten etwas sauberer sein. Und einige fremde Haare im Bett, Fenster und Teppich.
