Hôtel très bien placé, personnel très gentil et piscine incroyable!
This was such a great winter "vase" in Québec City. The hotel felt calm, warm, and comfortable, with everything you need after a day outside in the cold. The heated indoor pool and sauna were definitely a treat at the end of the day. Not many hotels have saunas.
The indoor pool deserves a special mention because it was actually heated and fairly warm. I usually find indoor pools too cold, so this was a real highlight for me.
We stayed in a Distinction room. It was very spacious, with two queen beds and a large living room area, so it never felt cramped, plenty of space to move around. The location was also really convenient, right off the main street and walkable to everything.
Service was consistently great. The staff were always helpful whenever we needed something, kettle, slippers, bandaids...
Breakfast was excellent, honestly better than some 5 star hotel breakfasts I’ve had. And valet parking was a lifesaver. It was smooth, convenient, and very reasonably priced for Québec City. Parking would have been a headache otherwise.
Highly recommend for a winter stay and I’d happily return!
I have stayed 3 nights in the "Manoir Victoria" hotel in February 2026 and very much liked it.
Warm welcome at the reception, I could check-in 2 hrs earlier than normally foreseen (4 instead of 2 PM) and got a very nice and cosy room.
Absolutely exceptional was the hotel gym which has bern the best I ever saw, being part of the hotel itself and not outsourced in a separate real fitness center. Really outstanding!!!
Didn't try the breakfast for 30 CAD/day though, offered as of 7 AM.
Unfortunately, at the end, there was also a negative point resulting in the overall 4 of 5 whereas that would have justified even a lower overall score: the house keeping!
I have clearly put the "pas derrangez / do not disturb" hanger the evening before and the house keeping knocked a bit after 8 AM where I once slept a bit longer and just got up...this is why I put the hanger out. She kept knocking and I opened the door kindly telling her that I just got up and I put the hanger out. She realised, closed the door and disappeared. When leaving the room later that day, there was a big hanger put on my door that due to my request, there will be no room service today...what!?
As I spotted the lady shortly thereafter, I mentioned that in general there was nothing outstanding but I would need (at least) some tissues and coffee capsules. She brought the tissues right away, dropped them next to the entrance and not in the bath room and left... Very unfriendly! No new coffee capsules either. Not acceptable and very disappointing ☹️
Elsewise, as said the Manoir Victoria is the ideal place to stay for exploring old Québec (vieux Québec).

Personnel chaleureux, endroit propre, paisible et confortable. Proximité du centre hospitalier.

The service
The breakfast was not good .

Noisy. Street noise
Could see the River from the room. Liked the separation of bed area from the bathroom/closets/refrigerator area.
Only one working elevator during our 3-day stay and it was tough to find space on that singleton. The one elevator was also used by the service staff who had very large work carts that took up most of the space. There was no way for guests to get from the garage into the hotel. Instead, guests had to walk up 22 stairs to enter the lobby. I noted that the elevator did descend to garage level and It should be easy enough to allow guests to use that entrance.
