We stayed three nights at the historic hotel. Rooms were nicely furnished. We could hear when adjacent rooms turned their water on but that would be expected in an older hotel. It wasn’t really a bother. The hotel has a newly renovated basement- gym, pool, sauna and cold plunge. We used this area twice and really enjoyed it. We ate at the hotel’s restaurant for dinner one night- we had a delicious meal. The location is ideal when travelling from the train though you have to walk up a steep hill (you could always get a taxi or Uber). We walked both times with no issues. This hotel is adjacent to one of the more popular roads that they close off to cars at night.

Very comfortable hotel in a good location for exploring old Quebec. Can highly recommend.
Our room was huge on the top floor, fabulously comfortable beds, loads of storage and kettle & coffee pod machine.
All staff were great and very happy to speak English. Very helpful receptionists who gave us free bus tickets for the 800 bus to Mt. Morency falls (beautiful)
We used the pool which was very clean although a bit cold. Good small gym too.
One tip, if arriving by train (as we did from Montreal) Google tells you it's a" 6 min walk,m ostly flat" it's about 200metres flat followed by 400metres up a cobbled mountain of a hill!!
Dragging our suitcases, they'll never be the same again!

Excellent location within Old Quebec City. Very close to shops, restaurants and train station with nice clean rooms. Wonderful connection to Chez Boulay cafe Boreal and Chez Boulay Bistro Boreal. I would highly recommend this hotel.

When you enter the hotel, the smell of nice perfume catches your attention; elegant entrance, luxurious lobby & reception, room is super clean & comfy; complete toiletries; I enjoyed the nespresso complimentary coffee inside the room; bed is comfortable and room design is inviting & calming; staff are super nice:) location is the best part, we just walk to all of our destinations.

Comfortable room right in the heart of old City. Great for walking and touring Old Quebec City.

Chambre très propre et hyper confortable.

The hotel was great, staff were nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There were many restaurants a short walk from the hotel. We ate breakfast twice at the Casse Crepe Breton next door and found it better value than breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The hotel is close to the beautiful Théâtre Capitole, where we attended a show while in QC.

Too many stairs

This is a very well-located hotel in the less touristy part of Old Quebec. Our room was large and comfortable. Staff are helpful and excellent. The restaurant is a one-star Michelin and excellent. The bathroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There are a lot of restaurants and stores nearby.
