It was clean and close to restaurants
Not much for breakfast only waffles and cereal. The pool was ok definitely on the small side but kids still enjoyed
We stayed in Cave City on our way to Mammoth Cave National Park. The hotel was easily accessible from interstate & had a few eating options nearby for convenience. It is an older, clean hotel. It does have an indoor pool, though it is pretty small. The hot water wasn’t hot, but rather warm for showers. And breakfast had very, very limited options (literally, waffles, cereal, or yogurt). But, for the price, this can be expected. Our room served its purpose.
I stayed here for two nights while exploring Louisville and Mammoth Cave NP. Service was nice, and my room was spacious, clean, and modern. Although it's right off the interstate, it was very quiet, and there are some fast food options close by. The breakfast was fine, and best of all, the price was right.
The staff was very helpful , friendly and supportive to my family needs. Very informative about the area. Very pleased with the staff.
There was a very limited breakfast.
The bed was great and room size were great. The negative is the pool was very small, the breakfast lacked a protein option- so glad I brought a protein yogurt with me ( so if your counting on an amazing breakfast to start your day, don't!) It had waffles and was clean, just know it's limited. We were on the 3rd floor when we checked out- elevator was not working at that time.,so had to make multiple trips to haul our luggage down ( I'm 67 and my husband will turn 69 this week, thankfully we were healthy and could do it, but not fun.) They should have offered help with luggage on the sign by the elevator sign that said it was out of order. Staff at check in was very cordial.
room was spacious, free parking, hotel was fine for a one night stopover, check in was easy and quick
breakfast is very limited, only waffles on offer. swimming pool is tiny and photos online are very misleading, probably only space for 1 or 2 people
Great location to the national park making it easy to go back and forth.
Breakfast was good but limited options. Pool was very small.
The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful.
The handicapped room with roll inn shower didn't have a roll in shower. It had a tiny shower that had a little el shaped entrance. No way to get a chair into. It also had no handrails to steady yourself with. How they can try to say it was a roll in shower. I was unable to take a shower while there. I don't recommend any truly handicapped people to stay there.
The bed and pull out bed was comfortable.
Dead bugs in corner of room.
Towels with makeup stains on them. Mildew in the back of shower.
Then they was on boil advisory so only offered cereal( froot loops and raisin brand) and yogurt for breakfast. NOT EVEN TOAST. lady was lactose intolerant so they couldn't eat anything.
The rooms were fresh and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Clean, comfortable, the staff was great.
The elevator broke and we had to carry our luggage down from the third floor. At least we didn’t have to carry it up😀
The location is great, right off I 65. The rooms were fine and clean. The beds were very comfortable... both the mattress and sheets were very soft and comforting. The noise levels were normal for a hotel... the usual slamming of the doors from those down the hall.
The major disappointment in this hotel is their breakfast which is almost the absolute minimum amount of offerings. They call it a "hot" breakfast but the only hot item offered is waffles. Other offerings were limited to 2 flavors of yogurt, 2 cereals with milk (pitcher), apples, coffee, tea, and only apple juice. The orange juice was out of order. This is enough to get my day started and get me on the road but it's not something I would look forward to when looking for another hotel stay in the area. My husband would have absolutely been disappointed as he doesn't like waffles, yogurt, or fruit loops... good thing he wasn't with me this time. It would be so easy for the hotel management to add boiled eggs or breakfast bars... or even muffins... but despite multiple bad reviews because of the breakfast alone, they choose to keep the breakfast on the bare minimum/skimpy side.
Breakfast should have been better
There breakfast has a lot to be desired
I made my reservation in March and they cancelled it in April without notifying me. They said its because I had a pay now and save reservation but why did they not charge it until a month after I made it and a month before staying? I obviously had adequate funds. And why was I not notified? I was a front desk supervisor at a hotel for nine and a half years and it is TERRIBLE customer service to just cancel someone's reservation without telling them. They could have made the situation better by letting me rebook and honoring my original rate but refused leading me to believe the manager is either rude/unaccommodating/lacks basic customer service skills, trained poorly so unable to do a simple fix, or not allowed to make normal management level decisions to fix a problem made by the hotel. Absolutely unacceptable practice and not even a hint of an apology or understanding. The actual front desk worker said he didn't even work at this hotel but was covering because someone didn't show up. He was wearing a hampton or hilton uniform and while he was nice, he wasn't much help. Additionally, the room door had issues latching and locking shut. Had to try multiple times every time we left or returned to make sure it was fully closed because I'd not it could be easily opened without a key. Room itself was ok, some scuffs and stains here and there and a bobby pin left on bathroom floor. Also it has very minimal breakfast (waffles, yogurt, cereal only - no pastries, toast, eggs).
Clean, friendly staff, easy location!
The breakfast didn’t have any good protein available, just waffles, cereal or yogurt, this might not be so bad if it wasn’t by a cave where some folks are heading for 2-4 hours moderate difficulty tours & need a slow burning energy source. We had to stop at a store for second breakfast items after eating some there. Also the fitness room only has 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, and 1 exercise bike which was fine for me but an fyi for others.
None
I don’t often leave comments but this is a super disappointing experience. I would not recommend booking with this property.
I was only about 12 hours past the free cancellation window, and multiple customer service representatives told me they were willing to cancel my reservation without charging me. Booking.com only needed written confirmation from the property.
Instead, I spent about three hours and around ten calls trying to resolve it. The front desk said the regional manager refused to provide confirmation, despite the prior approval. They also repeatedly lectured me about booking through third-party platforms instead of actually helping.
The communication was inconsistent, stressful, and a complete waste of time. A business should honor what its representatives tell customers. I would not book with them again.
The clerk was awesome Bybee was great.
Breakfast was sugar and carbs. The pool is more of a puddle. No hot tub.
