Beautiful building, very friendly staff! Very clean room, spacious bathroom. Especially Dhali was very friendly, we got a very warm welcome, coupons for wine at the bar and a bottle of wine in the room. Thank you, we had a very memorable stay. We will definitely be coming back for our last night in the US before we go home.
Arrived exhausted from a red-eye flight, Dhali at the front desk made sure I got an early check in to go straight to bed. Thanks Dhali!
Everything - a lovely hotel that was comfortable, clean, and with friendly helpful staff
The location is awful. I think Union Square was probably once an amazing area but whilst the square itself is still nice (and quite high end in terms of shopping etc) the surrounding area is really really bad. It’s actually heartbreaking because there are so many homeless and drug addicted people you just feel guilty staying at somewhere like the Marker.
Nothing
I requested a refund or postpone my stay. Both requests denied.
La ubicación y el lobby
La habitación pequeña y alfombra sucia
Kind cleaners and attentive front desk staff! Riddhi and the manager promptly answered our questions and concerns
The staff that checked us in was wonderful. The hotel let us have a late checkout. Everyone was so kind and helpful.
The outlets broke a curling iron and some didn’t work
Very convenient location, helpful staff, we made use of the office area
Although the location was super convenient, there were still a few dodgy people around - some outdoor security would make the place feel more comfortable
The location is very good. For some reason, when I booked uber, it always parked opposite of the hotel in front of grocery store. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. Didn't have a chance to try the restaurant though.
Not much I guessed. The location of the room is next to the elevator and it is still quiet. The location itself feels very safe. At night we opened a window, we did smell weeds, but we didn't mind.
Very clean, comfortable, and inviting
well apointed funky vibe, large rooms, all good
little noisy, rooftop bar close by, but then thankfully quietened by 10
We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful hotel. Dhali and Rhidi were unbelievably kind to us during our stay. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back here!
The hotel is close to a number of tourist attractions but that also means that it attracts all the usual city features, like a high number of homeless people around. The general feel of the hotel is that it needs significant renovation. Our first room on the 7th floor was a bit dark with large blade blinds and felt a bit like being in prison. It was also an interconnecting room and we did not feel comfortable at all. So we asked for a room change and the gentleman at reception was very helpful. Despite the manager saying to the gentleman that it was a full house ( I suppose implying that our room should not be changed), the gentleman kindly managed to move us to the 6th floor. Even here, the carpet felt dusty and the furniture including doors etc. were all outdated. The bathroom has a half height bath with a shower and shower curtain. The workmanship in the bath felt shoddy. However, we did get a free 500ml bottle of water which was promoted as refillable. There were no cups, plates, cutlery or tea/coffee making facilities in the room but the hotel does offer free tea/coffee in the hotel restaurant on the ground floor from 7am to 10am. There were two drinking glasses in the room but only one bottle of water for the two of us. So rather than ask the hotel for more, we just went out and purchased our own bottles of water. We did get a kettle for our room upon request, again from the kind gentleman as above. The hotel also gave us paper cups, paper plates and plastic cutlery upon request. Overall, for a 4* hotel, the hotel is begging for serious renovation. We checked out a day earlier than planned and stayed with relatives about two hours drive from the hotel. A definite No No
At check-in, the overly friendly staff was pushing alcohol on the non-alcoholic drinking members of our family. A polite no thank you was not received well by the staff.
