The breakfast was the worst I have ever experienced in my life

I cannot praise the room enough! It was absolutely brilliant—spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. We had a wonderful night's sleep and were genuinely impressed by the quality of the accommodation.
The location was perfectly fine. It wasn’t central to everything, but it wasn't too far out either.
The Breakfast: Absolutely Dreadful
This is where the experience completely fell apart. For £16 per person, the breakfast selection was practically non-existent. The communal buffet tables for all guests consisted only of: some oranges, coffee, scrambled eggs, a tiny selection of pastries, baked beans, two slices of ham, and three boiled eggs. That was literally it.
When things ran out, we had to ask for more. Upon my request, they brought out a bit more ham, and when my partner asked for bread, they literally brought it out straight from the freezer. Paying £16 for a buffet that offers less than a basic corner shop is unacceptable.
The room was clean and comfortable. The location was quiet, safe and convenient. The staff were great.
The air conditioning worked well, there was a small refrigerator and teapot in the room. There was free coffee and tea, a small gym and two sets of paid washers and dryers in the basement. I enjoyed my stay!
The only complaint I have is some of the room doors slammed shut, not sure if it was the fault of the people closing them or if the self closing doors need to be adjusted. If problem is fixed, I would give a rating of 10!
Clean, great location and easy check in
Love this hotel as it is so central to wheee I grew up and on both occasions I have stayed it has been quiet, clean, comfortable and the staff always very kind and helpful. Being dog friendly too and very understanding with our elderly dog made it even better. Thank you
Positively surprised by the hotel. I was expecting a hostel vibe, but no. It was very hot on that day. Climatisation worked fine. Location is convenient. There is also a supermarket closeby. Room was more than decent. Reception is always manned, so the hotel is feels very safe. No luxury, no extra comfort, but functional and clean. Checked out the gym (didn't try it though): small but again functional and clean. I'll be back.

The key card timed out on the last day, so we had to ask reception to retaliate it, before we could get back in, often happens with hotels I find
